Definitely getting this now since it's on sale, what would be cool is if they made expansions that went into other film genre's like those foreign knockoff superhero movies or all those Mexican films starring El Santo and Blue Demon fighting aliens or Dracula.

Whoa. You really sold me to this one. Can't wait to play it. Man, there is even a wilhem scream. And lol, that scene where the ant is carrying the astronaut, did they 'replace' him with a doll? And the physics of the ship falling on the box. Flawless. I must get this game. Thanks for reviewing it.

There are often good games on ps+, but they often don't interest me (like nba 2k16, resident evil 1 remaster, the more abstract indie titels, etc.) This one looked really weird to me, but now I'm actually interested in it (since I liked gauntled and loved helldivers), and I do like the cookie style of the game.

Jesus Christ so many sci-fi references in this game... the menu itself, on the beginning of the video with the Robot holding the girl, it's literally taken from the poster for Forbidden Planet (1956).

Oh my god, this looks amazing. I grew up watching oldschool sci-fi B-movies and shows and I've always loved the creativity and campiness of things like Land of the Lost, Them!, Quatermass and the Pit and things like that. Definitely going to pick this up.

I wanted to play this for a while but never really bought it, so when it was made available to PS+ subscribers I had to download it. Its a great game, the comedy is consistent and clever, graphics are on point, specially art direction. Everything about the game is a clear homage to 50s, 60s and 70s low budget sci fi. The ACE Team is a small developer from Chile, they hace made games in the past like Rock of Ages and Zeno Clash, its nice to see games from other countries and what they can create and achieve.

this game is unbelievably awesome, it's like an easier Mario game that plays like Knack, and just seeped in originality and fun, super fun, super hilarious, and the enemies look so cool, with stop motion claymation. Not every game has to be super hard, sometimes easy fun is what you're after.

I'm about 2/3 hours into the game - think you nailed the review! The only thing you didn't cover which I think is an issue is the ease of the game - I haven't come close to dying yet, enemies hit the deck easily and so the upgrade system (for me) seams weak and pointless. Still love the game, especially as it's free for me on PSN ✌🏻️

I do realize this. But Everybody's Gone to the Rapture is more of a visual story telling device, not actually a game. If you aren't into the whole story thing and care about gameplay, then Everbody's Gone to the Rapture is not the game for you. But if you just want a quick story, go ahead.

well you know, ps+. Really fun game, specially the commentary from the director, very funny and creative. XD As a little hint, try to rotate your character... just rotate for a while on place. ;)
