I have the Nikon versions of the zoom and the macro. I was concerned about distortion with the zoom.

Cool, you use the same lenses. But i shoot fashion and portrait and i love the look and sharpness from 100 macro lens... But for all the other things, 24-70 is the way to go for me :)
