Bro the A12 was the higher performing single seat CIA predecessor to the airforce sr71 the sr71 doesn’t actually hold the records the airforce just got greedy and wanted to steal the aerial espionage program from the CIA and lobbied away the funding however since the A12 was classified longer than the sr71 the records went to the airforce
Just how many missiles can it fire, you seem to have omitted this very important piece of information.... Talk about stating the bleeding obvious. it doesn't need a runway ... duhhh....
Finally, something that is fully armed and can carry a FULL squad of infantry soldiers. Most modern armies including us in America only can carry a fire team and some change (4 and a couple others) besides the crew. Why don’t other modern countries do this especially if they can afford it?
Huge, plainly visible, slow moving implements of war that operate in two degrees of spatial freedom (i.e. aircraft carriers) are better described as "easy targets" regardless of their defensive capabilities. It would be like the Air Force centering their war-making capability on mammoth, well defended atomic-powered dirigibles that could serve as airborne runways carrying other aircraft. Now, if both of these could be furnished with RF and optical invisibility cloaks we might get away with it but short of being able of making both of these behemoths travel at hypersonic speed. It’s game over man for giant dirigibles (which fortunately don’t exist) AND giant aircraft carriers (which UNfortunately do exist).
..got one of those Gatling spitball shooters coming next week to install on my VFR, ( found the laser version from Fallout at my local Marshals (was an open box return) - fits a little better and only need to remove the entire bike (except the chain ) to mount it. Pretty good trade off. Chicago traffic is tough but reasonable. ..Boston, however, needs slightly more... upgraded 'Measures of Deterrence' to ensure only 7 to 8 "drivers" run a red light and make a left turn in front of you every 7 minutes, instead of the usual All of them. The army was generous enough to paint it hot pink free of charge. ( Only had to pay for shipping! ) ...Now, if I can just manage to deal with the bike-inverting recoil, all will be golden. (Not 100% sure, but there must be some DOT revision that encourages pilots not to promote the formation of singularities on public MA roads while avoiding a traffic incident.. . or other potholes. (( Potholes = "Roads" in MA ) - I am relatively sure though, the last hole in the planet that flipped a car on its roof most likely led to the beta quadrant. ...damn Ferengi drivers.. Stay safe out there!
upgraded World War II technology that large slow-moving Target can be taken out by any real military without even going to see. Today, there's only two kinds of Navy equipment submarines and targets.
Good point, i`m so fed up of really good channels, resorting (needlessly) to clickbait photos, i increasingly find myself unsubscribing otherwise good subject channels, its just bloody pointless.
First, you glorify a plane that was banned from use, and then you start using it again. Second, this is a green agenda plane, because it uses URANIUM shells to penetrate tank armor. Very nice, everywhere you use it, it means a lot of cancer. Like you did in my country SERBIA. JERKS. Third, it is a plane when you have 100% of air control, because it is more than an easy target to shut down. America is very odd. On one side, you used over 1000 billion to produce a totally useless plane, F35. It has the problem even today. When we shot down your F117, 'invisible plane', you stop using it, but you started using it again, the same as a totally obsolete A10. On the one side, you spend like lunatics, on the other hand, you use some old planes. I don't get it. A10 is a totally obsolete plane, you will never have 100% air advantage. Not in Serbia, not in any other country, because Russia will defend it. Like Iran, like Syria. Why don't send A10 to Ukraine? Because it is a worthless piece of crap. It could destroy Russian tanks, but only in cartoons.
The CV90 is an amazing vehicle by all accounts. I'd love to know the stopping power difference between 50mm and 35mm ammunition. Many have seen Bradley's taking out, severely damaging, Russian tanks with 35mm ammunition. Would 50mm make a big difference?
The will have thought the exact same thing about the cross bow and all other inventions....untill something new comes along......THISSSS WILL CHANGE ETC.. The battle field would change forever if people stopped warring🤷♂️
I'd be more convinced if there was a direct comparison with other systems on the market such as the General Atomics Reaper or what Anduril is currently up-to. The UK has an appalling record a stupid procurement decisions wasting millions of the UK tax payers hard earned cash. Lets hope this is actually a useful product that adds some value on the battle field. I am yet to be convinced.
Will it survive in the world of drones, Infantry launched precision guided ordinance and modern anti aircraft defences? I know it is tough and armoured, but would you fly it against sophisticated air defence systems? Can it get beneath all of them and survive? If it cannot, then may be time to either upgrade it or retire the aircraft. In light of current conflicts, these are the kind of questions that should be asked.
