Noob question. What if I had a removable spoiler that I just wanted to throw a little lip on the back of it but not mold it to the car. Would that be something reasonably doable?
bro must work on a boat shipyard to use boat paint that endures time itself from rusting away in the oceans salt.. this car is bullet proof against salt
Your build is inspiring and helpful, im going same thing on my rs13 200sx, all rust spots, and took the engine out with my younger brother week ago... Somehow for my second car i also got vi civic (coupe ej2) with d16y7! that it needs some little care, Cheers from Poland
Wow.. this is awesome man. The amount of work and detail you put into these car restoration is just so underrated. Good job. I hope you get more views.
loving this series! very similar to my EK project so great to see your progress! Noticed on your mx5 you used a raptor liner type product vs gravitex. would appreciate your pros and cons on each? Ive got raptor liner ready to go over the epoxy primer but im leaning more to gravitex now for the rubbery finish plus a bit of sound deadening...
I myself have a 1996 EK hatch that has some rust that needs repairing, my goal is to learn to rust repair and to work on cars overall with it. It's great seeing videos like this, makes me believe i can actually do it
I just bought a 1997 EK hatch and didn’t look bad until I really started to strip it down looks quite similar and I paid $3000 for it I knew it needed body work but turned out it’s pretty bad the previous owner had it hidden quite well unfortunately.
Que gran pasion dedicación, cuidadoso, detallado, meticuloso y pausada forma de reparación y restauración de la carroceria y de todo rincon metalico que la compone. Mil felicitaciones por tan generoso trabajo. 👏👏👏👏👏

I could watch your work for hours, such professional approach and thoroughness, I dream I can some day work on my own project in the same fashion as you!
Far shot, but did you get any delimitation? Like did the carbon peel back up? If not what resin/ hardener are you using? I was going to do a engine cover but was told that I need to use a heat resistant epoxy and than I have to post cure it but I don’t have any of those things to post cure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
I’d love to know how much this is going to cost as I have a high mileage 92 Si hatch that needs some work, I’m thinking of pulling all the good stuff off of it and scraping the shell, I don’t really want to get rid of it because it’s hard finding a good one to replace it but it does need some rust repair. 😊
