Had a stage 2+ GTP vette, V series, 2 turbo buicks, 392 300 and the YP is quicker off the line and quite tge sleeper. Getting on all the others made cop attracting noise as they all had intakes and exhausts at the least. No mods needed on the Y and it has more room than all the others and costs me rubber and washer fluid. Probably getting a S-plaid next as I think I will always have a Tesla and a 6.2 or 6.4 ICE for when I get board w the electric. A 6.2 is sitting in the garage today
Other than installing Ghost upgrades and stripping weight not really. Idk if performance models have ghost upgrades but long range ones can. The performance Y wheels are super heavy so are a huge performance upgrade to get lighter wheels
…and yet, their still faster than 95%+ of so-called ICE “performance” cars. Even higher vs. the everyday regulars that get left behind (Challengers, Mustangs, Camaros…). Check the stats.
Don't hate on the tesla too much it's 100% made in America. The corvette is only 72%. Also the ceo of gm is Mary Barra she really pushes that woke, communist agenda. I Have a really hard time supporting gm these days...
12.4 at 109 mph seems off compared to other drag races of the Y performances. Usually, they run below 12 seconds in the high 11 seconds range 114 plus mph .What was state of charge? Otherwise, great race. Subscribed 😊
He slept on the line hear the turbos kick after a good ways down and missing 2nd? Supra couldn’t drive but with a driver mod that Supra easily would win
@@jamesdavis5329 Looks like the camaro comment got you triggered huh lol. Actually I have been around / worked on cars most of my life. Sorry man, like I said.. they sound good but have no go. Im sure the ZL 1 is more fun but the SS is a waste of money and disappointing to drive
