I agree with you. Disney has a lot going on. Who knows what the future holds

political issues should NEVER be involved in entertainment. Politics needs to stay out of it too. Shut up and entertain me. I don’t want to be told how I should feel or should support. I have nothing against LGBQ+. I think it just needs to be left out of children and family programming. I didn’t mean to come across mean or bigot sounding I am not. I love all people and accept pretty much everything but the WOKE agenda has gone way too far imo. Disney has become so woke and I don’t like it.

Lightyear is already available?! I wanted to watch it with my kids since some time! Why was there no advertising?! Who care about a same gender kiss?! Our Aunt is a lesbian and one of my frinds is gay - so what..?! As long as they don't make viewers feel bad if they are straight, i dont care.

I cannot tell a story from Central Europe and a time, where nearly no African lived in Europe and try to include all groups, that didn't were there.

Star Wars is not a bunch of movies, it is a religion. At least for the people of the 80's... These people have grown up and are now in their 50's. You can't pass crap to those people and think all will go well. You need a very solid gold story with characters that make sense, and can be taken seriously. Ahsoka was the exception that appeal to fans because she could incarnate the future of the Anakin and Obi-Wan legacy. That is why she became loved by the fan as a character in the Clone Wars animated series. But... Well... When you put a saddle on the head of an actual actress, it is very hard to make very fast movement with or without a lightsaber. Things they didn't have to worry about in the animated series... I think that is why they now have to switch attention from Ahsoka toward her own apprentice that doesn't have the force... Not a bad idea, if the character had charisma but she has none... so... yeah... things are not looking good.

Disney has brought me so much apprehension about viewing another movie from their studios, I gave them many chances and it's constantly mistepping my expectations that it adds an additional barrier to keep me from giving anything from them a chance.

Can we tell any old fairy-tale, when we have to adapt from monarchy to democracy?

Besides The Legend of Sleepy Hollow from The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, I wish Disney had made animated horror movies like Dracula, Frankenstein, or The Phantom of the Opera. But I want Dracula to be a villain protagonist instead of an actual protagonist like they did with Elsa from Frozen as a last minute change because of the song Let It Go.

Bless everyone's hearts that what you really can't stand are people of color in what you remember in your lilly-white, happily-ever-after fantasies. But wasn't what was wrong these stories in the first place? Your children are going to bring home someone that you didn't expect. That's why we have all these beige babies running around here now. Ladies there's was no prince coming to rescue you in the first place. Guys there's no prefect perfect princess out there to be found. Let's get real. Just regular human beings. Flaws and all. To love and cherish till death due you hopeful not by each other's hand. 💯
