well one is a fly around and the other is a FPV. price difference is only $250. i got the mini 2 se and love it. would like the avata 2. would be fun. dont know what this almost ddi ban will do.
I’m not 100% sure how well they would do with drum level loud sounds, but the good think about the DJI Mic 2 unit is that: 1) It can record a backup track in 32bit float which should allow it to capture a broader range of sounds (dynamically speaking) 2) Since the mic is separate from the camera you could conceivably put the mic in something like a sock (or two) to somewhat lessen the loudness.
Thanks man. This is the video I was looking for, was in torn between the m4p and a2 altho my wife was leaning more towards a2, I was more into the slow, cinematic feels of it all. M4p for sure, plus after more than an hour of watching non stop fpv videos, I was motion sick and almost threw up..
always thought that normal drone videos were great and that is the new standard, amazing view from a new angle, dont need a helicopter etc etc... then I saw how people film with avata 2, the angles and the motion they get, (if you can find them on youtube where they beam around the coastline etc) - it makes all the other drone footage looks nearly static and extremely boring to me now while avata shots look like a mini fighterjet buzzing around... cant even compare
Very useful and well done video thanks. One important feature is lowest latency with Goggles 3. With Avata it is 24ms (1080p/100fps). How about Mini 4 Pro ?
They are both great for collision sensor coverage, 2S is soooo good as long as it's not pushed into areas with skinny brown or dead branches...... I love my 2S, and now have an RC1 controller for it, much better communication with the drone with it, but way way poorer maps compared to the N1 controller using my Ph and google maps. I am looking into the Mini 4 Pro as a 2nd drone, also as some of the fishing spots I want to use it, I need a <250g drone as its within an Int airport. So great vid and comparison. and depending on needs they are a great combo Thanks From Australia
D log will solve all this problems. Air2s has only 1 advantage- better holding winds. Has lots disadvantages: no omnidirection sensors, no tripod mode, loud, crop on 4k 60fps, 2.8 f lens, no vertical photos, poor active track
