There was never much skill with the parkour in the original games either. You're kidding yourself if you think it was anything remotely engaging. I'd say you can definitely have the option to optimize how you climbed things, but clearly this game is massive and just making your character navigate it needed to be easier for the sake of being about to get around.
For me this was the main point I hated. Origins was similar but with the atmosphere of Egypt it kind of made sense. Odyssey has no excuse. You can play a stealth build but you can’t play an assassin
I'd say the problem is stealth is really just so boring in odyssey to the point i quit the game as everything got repetitive fast, couldnt they have given kassandra some tools like they did bayek
The problem is that now the main character can vault themselves like their own height up only using their arms, without even getting tired in the process. The climbing itself didn't change that much, but when you can jump 7ft or 2m high while climbing, you don't have to plan any routes, you can just press foward and let it do it's job ig.
The implications with the animations are that hes leaped down/up sprinted over n stabby stabbed mfrs, you dont demateralise like in mirage, youre no seethough your still moving faster than is possible for a mortal BUT hes a demigod, so the usual rules have dome flexability, so given the plot, character and game all balances n makes srnse i really dunno what the issue is,,, i also wanna point out that you COULD just deselct that ability n replace it with somthingbless ridiculous, also what no problems at all with atlantis? Medusa? The minotaur? Those are all credible are they ?🤷🏻♂️
Kassandra is not a assassin's . She's simply a soldier . The same as Eivor from Valhalla . She's also not a part of assassin's . Kassandra and Eivor just cross path with then and have the same goal . Whoever complaining that " eeew it's so bad , why they didn't move like previous assassin" well dumb ass . Because they are not assassin
