never happened to my E-Revo... anyway those TRA5319 and TRA5319X are for progressive-3 rocker arms TRA5359 which it seems you are not running (they are longer) so not sure if it's a good upgrade alone just replace the rod end for a new one and problem solved, the 5319 most likely have the exact same rod ends as the 5318 if you keep stripping the threads for some strange reason than get the RPM rod ends
Unless you have a small light truck (crawler?) with a huge battery tray this is a dangerous waste of time. Nobody wants a 2S slash. 2S is good for buggy or touring car only.
I just received the arrma boost box. Two metal diffs with composite yokes. I bought two alloy yokes to swap onto it. Do you know if I should open the housing and put oil or grease inside the diff? And do I need to upgrade any other gears to make the entire drivetrain metal? I have no real logical reason to go full metal other than. I just want to upgrade the crap out of it and I don’t like the idea of any moving part being plastic. Please if you know anything about the arrma boost diffs or have any tips. Let me know. Thank you!
About to slap a hobbywing max 10 sct 120a in mine with a 4000kv motor. Upgraded my spur to medal hot racing 48t spur 23t pinion. Running a 3s 120c power hobby battery, running 20mm extensions with belted protoform street tires 👌🏾also a surpass hobby 17mg servo and a Traxxas wheelie bar
lol came here to see if this works for lfp packs to buy 8s charger balancer /.for 16s system..!! this is how cheapy i am !! Call the fire department.. its me on the horizon!!! keep up man . made my day . had to type paralel charging to find you!!!
Dean's connectors are easy to work with and easy to solder they are very cheap in common and do have pretty low resistance but if you plan on running anything over 12 volt or anyting over 60 amps should I say they become pretty unreliable
Ok went by Ace hardware and he's right. There are drawers there with springs in them and numbers on the drawers and numbers on the compartments in the drawers. Look for #93 ($1.79/each) also check out #90 (.99/each) they are a little shorter and not as stiff. Will try them on tonight!! Can't wait!! Thanks again for the Video Help!!!
Same mine are still holding up very strong after 6-8 hard runs and crashes my wheels are stright like a knife i even upgraded my (A-arms for "Rear & Front") all in all i just lube the shafts and bearing so its running good im gonna upgrade my difs very soon. Ill buy the parts some point in time but before i install them ill run and run my car untill its toast inside but just the casual cuz i dont wanna have to put the metal parts in to early but maybe ill upgrade to 6s combo 😂 but its fairly fast so i gotta do more on the dirt to handle my high speed crashes before we go faster up.
Great job on this video. Very informative and easy to follow. Your Kraton really jams. I dread when the time comes where my 3s Typhon or Granite need new Diffs but I can just look back at this video for reference. Awesome Thanks ... 🏆🏆
That is how it is assambled, But IT doesnt Tell how the function is. When does the diff Limit the Slip? And why. That would be the Definition, of how the function is.
Bought a few of these for my boys and I to moto around a track in our yard. Bought the center differential upgrade and when we got it together it seems to slip. Any suggestions? We use the 1/16th slash 4x4.
Thanks for the info. I literally did the center diff tonight based on your vid. Can you tell me what wheel/tire combo you are running? They look way better than stock.
so in short, 6S is simply OVERKILL and uncontrollable LoL...Another reason I will stay 4S on my Arrma Typhon. I prefer spending the money on durability upgrades. performance is simply fine on 4S!
Maybe? Although RPM makes a lot for the e and t Maxx, not sure on which version you have though. This does the same thing, we had to “modify” this kit because rpm doesn’t (and won’t) make a true track for the revo 2.0. Rpm has a disclaimer for the the Remax that if you don’t have a certain version e/t-Maxx, you’ll have to swap some other parts too. “Tech Notes: This rear end kit works on all T-Maxx 2.5R, T-Maxx 3.3 & E-Maxx 16.8 versions. It can be adapted to work on earlier versions of the T/E-Maxx such as the T-Maxx 1.5, T-Maxx 2.5 & earlier E-Maxx versions simply by upgrading the axles & bulkheads to T-Maxx 3.3 versions. One kit will complete the entire rear end of your truck.” amzn.to/3OWYk87
I find it very strange everyone has a problem with the rods on the rear of the E-Revo 2.0 I have had my E-Revo 2.0 since 2018 probably run 5,000 milliamp 3s through it 2 to 4 times a month I have never broken one single rod end and I do jump at 20 to 25 ft in the air do a backflips in front flips I swear on everything I have never had an issue with the rear rods they are starting to get worn out over time but I have never broke one never popped ones off the end of the rod I feel like the people that are having problems do not know how to set the suspension up properly I don't know what it is but I have never had an issue not one I have stripped out spur years I have worn out multiple sets of bearings I have broken the screws off the motor and had the motor bouncing around inside I have never had one issue with the rod ends
I have even ripped the rod ends off the shocks multiple times never had a problem with any turnbuckles but haven't ripped the rod ends off the shocks since putting limiter straps on never once have had a problem with any of the turnbuckles and I am not easy on my stuff it's very weird everyone has an issue with them turned off except for me
I’ve literally looked everywhere within the depth of the Interweb I am so ready to buy this equipment but I cannot find these pivot balls anywhere somebody anybody leave me in the right direction please I’m tired of these till links and have no worry about them they bend and break and pop off constantly
Thanks for The Video!! Question, Can I Just Replacement Everything Else Except The Yoke & Driveshafts & Will Fit On To The Plastic Yoke? The Reason I'm Asking B/c My Funds Is Low, Especially When You Have 3 Young Kids To Support & Have Only One Income Coming In..Lol!
