Excellent video as always! It's nice to see the thought process as well as the trials and tribulations around getting parts, determining if they are correct and reworking the old parts. Also, the steering relay seems needlessly complicated for what it does. It seems like it could be a shaft with a set of tapered roller bearings and a shim pack?
Awesome rebuild. Glad the spring didn't sprung on you. If you can get your hands on some daubert Cromwell VCI sprays, I recommend spraying all of your assemblies with 3100 (extreme), or 5100 (less extreme) if they won't be visible but will be exposed to the elements. And anything that is visible, 7100. It won't leave a visible film, but will offer a degree of protection. That's what I use to keep machine shop rust at bay in the humid US south, unless I can VCI bag it or use VCI emitters.
You can change the Makita charger melody. Just out a battery in it, and then snap it off and immediately back onto it, and the next melody is chosen. I love your videos btw.
Thanks for the presentation - I would imagine that your audience was full of tension to the same level as the spring watching that re-assembly!!! Great stuff - stay safe!!
excellent job. zip ties are amazing in there usefulness. I would have used some thread all and your hand press put some nuts on and tightened them down. not sure it would work any better than what you did but might have been a little safer. lol. thank you for the great content.
Absolutely painstakingly watching you compress that spring. I jumped when the oil squirted out, I thought it was the spring taking out your skull! Nice job once again!
Stupid question, but is this relay just a shaft with 90 degree offset arms on either end? What does the spring do? Honestly don't care what the content is, your videos are the perfect blend of entertainment and education, with a hearty dose of job satisfaction, all while I sit on the couch. Please don't ever stop creating
Phenomenal work yet again. Video production was an all time high. Great music and camera work. Hilarious antics and the things you say are always beyond enjoyable. The only downside, we have to wait awhile until your next video creation and that is always hard to do. Thanks so much for this video and all past ones too.
Just so good, your land rover set of videos has entertained me so much, I’ve learnt a bunch of stuff too, thankyou so much. Please do another series 😎🤣🤣
