When i say that Proper is an S+ tier flex dps, and only an A tier hitscan, i win @platchat Worst Take of the Week. But when Jake says it, everyone agrees. Anytime we are relying on Proper to play hitscan and letting another player have his best heroes, we have a team that falls out of championship contention.
Christopher and Funnyastro must have a huge amount of shares with Blizzard/Microsoft since Lucio continues to be buffed in order for Funnyastro to still have a job
While I think Jake brings a lot of high quality insight, it would be nice if he let other people talk and give their opinions after he was done giving his piece.
In defense of Reinforce around 1:04:00, I would also be interested in seeing behind the scenes in Japan OWCS. Team Japan is very good at rock climbing, and I recently watched some behind the scenes of how they train and it was great content. You could say "what do you mean how do they train? They climb rocks!" but imo it was informative and endearing.
Okay but Flora isn't bad. Like he isn't. He's not the best but he is Like a B+ player I would say. He's not going to beat like Lip or Happy or Merit, someone like that. But he will beat the rest like 95% of the time is what I've seen from him. Which I know is ironic because his team did beat Happy on Falcons but they need to have Happy actually play hitscan more often.
@CrazeeAdam I'm meming. Ur right flora is not terrible. But tbh a team that's supposed to be competing with crazy raccoons should be stomping a team with flora and a brand new tank.
As someone from the Illinois suburbs, Chicago is great and not nearly as bad as you would think. I went to school downtown and have never had any problems or really ever been scared
Illari now 2 taps 225 hp targets, that is completely broken with an auto heal and massive bullets and hitscan Oh and about Lifeweaver, the guy still has 275 hp + 300 petal + 45 self heal dash, mfker has 620hp he can't even notice losing that 15hp on his self heal
10:32 im with u there Jake. I used to be in that crowd of I want a rank reset. But after these last couple years im like nah... they r pointless. We're all gonna end up in the same rank as we were, and the only change is that the matchmaking gets thrown through a loop for the first couple weeks bcuz everyone is all over the place. So all these resets really do is push u down a few tiers than u normally were (u end up versing the same opponents as u did when u were higher tier bcuz they also got pushed down) and now u gotta grind back up for a month to where u were before anyways. It's pointless
Sojourns identity has been completely gutted. I hate these devs so much. Shes even worse after these changes because the primary fire is HARDER to hit now. They shouldve increased the primary fire projectile change
In paladins, immediately after you spawn you get a horse. And you can rude the horse into whatever objectives you want. There was a play you could make where you run to enemy spawn and shoot them off there horse. The horse was also third person, so you could pick flankers. Run to off angles you want, and peak around corners. This has been a thing since 2016. Same with global passive heal, pickable passives, and anti-heal passive
@@XuQifei the core competitive game play experience was fine, great even. And it has a good middle ground between balancing for low end and high end game play. Which is why I think overwatch is slowly moving there. Overwatch has issues with it's core philosophy. Paladins had issues everywhere BUT its core philosophy.
I'm watching this episode while y'all are live on the new episode, but these episodes are my absolute jam. I could watch these tier list type episodes endlessly forever.
The consideration for Echo in S tier is definitely because of the Ult, but I don’t think it’s solely reliant on someone’s proficiency with other characters. Echo’s Ult breaks game mechanics, it transcends hero limits and role lock. Knowing who and when to copy is massively important, even relative to other impactful Ults, imo. I would have rocked with 4 in S, 4 in D
@140:05 then Jaws goes off on The betrayal of his character that he believes exactly what Samito says and why Samito says it: "we hear what you are saying, but we are the elite, so we will ignore it." Well screw that, if Samito's ideas benefited anyone but him, they would have been implemented.
@139:10 Jaws is experiencing the first level of what has changed Samito into a unwatchable mess. "Why should we worry about the lowest rank players when we're making rules that will make the game better for us" I don't agree wit Samito's methods or explanations. But I agree about what it will take to get a playable community out of an encoordinated mess. And I'm not talking about 6V6
Oh yeah, step three if you are a person who is identified by the metrics and this is entirely possible with the numbers blizzard collects, we find the people who are the greatest nuisance to competitive and bend them from that play. We make it only so that they can play quick play this is very scary to blizzard because it will reduce the amount of simultaneous players but contradically that's not a real word I don't think it will also increase the numbers of people who play competitive more than two or three times a week because they're just exasperated with the behavior of the game, but loved the game itself.
But that doesn't mean I don't agree with Avrl.. your team is randomly assigned a role and then you choose the band I'm perfectly on board with that and it is as simple as he said it just took him way, way, longer than it should have.
So, basically, Avrl's suggestion for hero bands is just to randomly been two heroes. I agree with the random band I agree it shouldn't be two of the same hero roles, but I don't think he's thought about it enough to realize that if you put random in it any stage in the banning process then the whole thing is random. Don't be fooled when he says well we know they have a tank man and we and they know we have a support band... Don't think that that changes the fact that they were randomly given tank they didn't know what they were going to be able to choose before they went into the process so the entire system is random not just because you get a choice at the end oh we can choose a tank that doesn't make it not random that makes you the tail end of its randomly generated choice.
Go ahead, explain ANYTHING in lifeweavers kit that is even remotely hard every character in D tier deserves to be there except maybe reaper id put him in C + drop dva to C and kiri to A and doom and ball to S
