Alan, thank you for your past upgrades to my orders, I have fruiting plants now because of your generosity. I loved the Pitangatuba fruit. Still waiting for my Supped Up version of the Lemon Drop. The cashew apple kind sucks though? I wanted one RIGHT up until this point where you said it blows. I put a net on my entire back yard because of animals. From the smallest (white flies) to larger ones (squirrels and birds), It's called a screened enclosure 🤠👍. So I guess my garden is 40 x 40 foot, but I also have a greenhouse area under my Lanai with grow lights galore. All my neighbors have them with pools in them. Mine is a forest of almost everything. With insanely small openings to keep out everything. No golf balls either which used to try to kill me or my family when in my backyard. Super growing conditions, I call it my arboretum. Ooo...Ooo... I have Red and Yellow Muntinga too! Yes, I love their flavor! They are like Maple Syrup covered cotton candy oatmeal. The only way I know how to describe them. I just cut them both back because they grow like a crazy weed and were trying to get out the screen. Should I plant the wood as cuttings? Will it grow from a cutting? Never tried, YET! Trying it now though, I know others that would like a tree in the neighborhood. So, is the 720p video because of it being streamed? I love your garden/yard, and in 720, it looks like I am standing next to you without my glasses on, everything is blurry unless you bring it close... HAHAHAH!!! 🤣
its brutal outside. spent a few hours myself in and out re potting some Pilinias, Garcinias, Eugenias, and taking some cuttings from around the yard! Love the content as always!
Awesome video Adam! Squirrels are not welcome in our backyard given how they've dug up seedlings and destroyed many attempts at nurturing them. I remember our first visit out there to pickup our Grimal, and we bought a Jamaican Cherry you had propagated, and let me tell you, this year the thing is going nuts! Literally pounds of little fruits with amazing flavor. Got to be one of my favorites as far as unique taste and sweetness. Finally got the Grimal, Restinga, and whatever the third one was in the ground. They were in fairly large containers for the past couple of years, but hadn't really grown much at all. Hoping that now planted, they will have better opportunity to thrive and eventually fruit, as they're getting close to 4-5 years by now. Also, will likely have to send you some pictures as well so you can help identify which is which, as my markers faded in the sun, so I'm at a loss. :P Let me know if you want some of the fruit, and if you'd be interested in coming over next time you're in Altamonte and seeing about trimming up the Jamaican and getting some grafts or air-roots done, as the tree is an excellent producer of terrific fruit, and now very overgrown. Would love to add some other trees to our modest garden -- the Superior Mangosteen sounds wonderful ... Really looking for fruits that are good with cancer-fighting potential, as I've been dealing with CLL and would really like to have some natural healing in the form of delicious and nutritious fruits. We were interested in having a cashew tree, however, the toxic Urushiol oil was a concern, and I wouldn't want to make an accidental blunder that could be damaging and possibly fatal. So, please DM me directly when you can! Would love to get a good net for the Jamaican and eventually for the Jabo's, but they look to have a long time of more growing to do. Keep the great videos coming! -- Marc
I really like your videos about jaboticaba, I'm Brazilian and I find you interesting as well as I like this fruit so much. It's among the top four for me! Nice video!
