I remember getting Enter The Dragonfly when I was young. I was so hyped to play it since I loved Year Of The Dragon. I got home, I played the first few levels of it.... and it was extremely underwhelming. I got bored after a while and just popped in Tekken Tag Tournament or something.
In regards to the King of the Storm/Nameless King issue, see it as this; the bonfire in Sister Friedes room doesn't spawn until you beat Black Flame Friede. As well, the boss encounter doesn't truly end (since the fog wall is still there) until you kill Blackflame Friede. Same goes for Nameless King; just because there's a cutscene between them doesn't mean its 2 separate encounters, since the fog wall doesn't despawn between them and the bonfire doesn't spawn after King of the Storm dies. So technically, you'd fight that boss in the Ns not the Ks.
Honestly the impressive thing with any of these random challenges is the sheer amount of patience people have to do them. Like most of them you see the title and straight away you think yeah, that can probably be done, but it's going to take a hell of a long time haha
This is a really hardcore challenge run for someone who hasn't played through the dlc regularly yet. Really in depth and crazy use of glitches too. Well done.
I thought I would just put this vid on the background while doing chores, but I ended up watching from beginning to end. Amazing achievement man, only made even better with your storytelling and video editing.
Spyro: Year Of The Dragon was the first Spyro game I played as well. I've played only 2 of them (This and Enter The Dragonfly). I considered Year Of The Dragon one of the best PS1 games. I love the characters, the soundtrack, the levels.... but my god, after beating the final boss and collecting all the eggs, and STILL needing to collect literally ALL the games was an absolute pain.
you can cheese the 2nd sniper wolf fight by getting to the right bottom corner and using nikita launcher and the 2nd raven fight with claymores 23:23 or using a silencer 24:30 chaff nates
I think the standing somersault is fine, since it's a completely different method of movement from the normal taking steps. The shimmying however I think should count as steps, since you're still mechanically taking steps, just using an exploit to hide the animation.
IMO if youve killed a boss and left, you should be allowed to kill that boss again whenever you need it. king of the storm would be dead so whats the point in worrying about killing it again? its already struck off the list
You weren't kidding about the flashing lights warning! It's not even a concern about people who might have epilepsy, that genuinely hurt my eyes and gave me a headache.
