Just binge watched this video & a couple other letsplays of this game, and its really incredible and impressive at certain parts. Some of the ways you get jumpscared are insane, and the puzzles can be pretty fun once you’re in the loop for what cipher to use. The story is also pretty great, gets you thinking that this couldve happened to Disney at some point & does a great job of humanizing characters that we never really get to see. I gotta say though, my biggest gripe with how the puzzles are set up in this game is that there are just soooo many 4 digit codes and the indicators for which numbers go where is incredibly sparse. And story wise, I don’t really enjoy the starling’s explanation for, well, existing? It sorta throws a lot of the “grounded in reality” parts of the story out of loop (like how Mark is trying to save money for his wife).
i’d just like to say this, this is the best video essay i have ever seen in my entire life, actually. i have rewatched this video several times. i reccomended this video to my freinds. i made my grandma watch this video. i use it for background noise. i pay attention to it. i try to debunk the story clearly because it’s confusing as hell. this video is THE best video essay about SML right infront of turkey toms video essay. i love the format of the chapters. this video has made my interest in content creation pop up again. this video inspired me way more than it should’ve.
How dare you not put jumpscare warnings!!!!! I have now peed my bed and now my mom is grounding me for the rest of hte month!! ! Dislike and report!!!! >:((((()(
I love the art in this I think it the painter could be a great series I really do but it can be so boring. The only episodes that were somewhat enjoyable were the last two episodes with the police call and the little animation of the killers at the camera. Also I never knew he did this to promote his art. And the csa part was a bit uncomfortable to sit through the amount of detail it goes through is bad. And the writing is just too annoying all it is is just a black screen white text and a picture to go with it
Well, this was definitely interesting, and I love it. Also, I don't know if this is true, but the Swedish Rhapsody used in the game at 32:10 could be the same thing that's used in certain parts of Omori.
love this video and totally agree about it "just being a website" args are fun and all but sometimes people just want to create something for the sake of creation and while yes some aspects are similar to args it doesnt mean it MUST be lumped into that category! art history is all about trying something different so not everything needs a label to be enjoyable or given value and yeah rant over love this website lol
