Marvel: Okay, it's not working out. I'm gonna need the rights back. Sony: For how long? Marvel: Forever. Sony: [on the verge of tears] No! No, no, no! Please, please, please! Marvel: Let's have it. Sony: You don't understand! This is all I have! I'm nothing without this franchise! Marvel: If you're nothing without this franchise, then you shouldn't have it, okay?
sony needs to After venom the last dance kravan the hunter and beyond the spiderverse are released they need to get their act together put a stop to this current spin off universe and make sam rami spiderman 4 the amazing spiderman 3 continuing their stories and also do live action takes on the most popular spiderverse characters like spider gwen miles morales spiderman 2099 etc those are the characters they need to focus on while the mcu continues the plotline of the current spiderman film series
VENOM had the writer from 50 SHADES OF GREY (Who is also directing THE LAST DANCE) MORBIUS had the writers from GODS OF EGYPT (who also did MADAME WEB) And KRAVEN THE HUNTER has the writers from TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT AVI ARAD ruined everything again, just like he ruined TASM series
AVI ARAD has ruined so far... * Daredevil (2003) * The Punisher (2004) * Elektra (2005) * Fantastic Four (2005) * X-Men: The Last Stand * Spider-Man 3 * Bratz (2007) * Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance * The Amazing Spider-Man 2 * Ghost in the Shell (2017) * Venom: Let There Be Carnage * Uncharted (2022) * Morbius And now he's gonna ruin... * Borderlands * Kraven the Hunter * Venom: The Last Dance * Legend of Zelda * Naruto As long Arad lives, there's no hope
I was really looking foward to Beyond the Spider-Verse but then I heard what a sh*tshow it was behind the scenes and now I just want them to treat the animators right. Don't cruch.
I do the exact same thing T, this is one of the only games ever where I’ll play it once every year, as well as watching this walkthrough every year, it’s a game that changed superhero games forever, and similar to T I too was looking for something else and saw this game was one of the games you can rent from my local library and it was one of the best decisions I ever made
With madame web, they made a HERO in the comics into a VILLAIN. A VILLAIN for god sakes. And now their going to do the same with apperently Toxin in the new upcoming Venom 3 movie. They never know what their doing and dont care about the outcome. It's so sad cause this has been the case since Spider-Man 3 (2007).
Daily reminder that Sony rushed the release of Spider-Man 2 for the PS5. So many concepts and great ideas were cut just for a release date. Its quite insane that Sony's constant meddling with Spider-Man leaked its way into the games as well.
My ranking of the main films- probably very controversial. 1. Homecoming 2. No Way Home 3. The Amazing Spider-Man 4. Far From Home 5. TASM 2 6. Spider-Man 2 7. Spider-Man 8. Spider-Man 3 I grew up with the Raimi trilogy but TASM was the first time Spider-Man was not just “OK” to me on film. I loved it. I actually really enjoyed TASM 2, even though I got spoiled on the ENTIRE PLOT. And then MCU Spidey stole the show for me and is my favourite. I do miss Infinity Saga-era Spidey- and I am so happy he got to be in the Avengers films.
@@vengeance4566 He could grow up, but find them pretty samey. I definately watched Raimi's trilogy and I thought spiderman in them was lame. The plot was also samey for three movies pretty much, if you strip it down to basics. I didn't gave a chance to Amazing Spiderman simply because of how boring Raimi's movies were. Then I watched Homecoming and damn. That was actually freaking fun. That's exactly what I would like to watch. I never thought someone can undo boring Peter Parker stigma, but they did. And I liked Gwen way more then Mary Jane in Raimi movies.
@@vengeance4566 We had Spider-Man 1,2, and 3 on DVD from 2008-2012 and I rewatched the first two multiple times. I have never liked 3 mainly because of Venom. I have never liked the Green Goblin’s mask. I had knowledge of Spider-Man’s comic version through multiple different sources and I really wanted to see those versions. TASM came out when I was 11. I loved seeing a more agile and quippy Spider-Man. I started watching the MCU the following year- after the Iron Man 3 trailers peaked my curiosity.
I know it’s probably unlikely, but I think Sony should just finish the spider-verse trilogy and just give the characters rights up. Because if there not gonna have creative minds making great films then what’s the point ?
I can't stand any of the Avengers stuff. Pretty much Batman and Dune 2 were the main modern movies that gave me HOPE in modern movies. I hope things improve movie wise & video games wise
I have a Question i love Dc and love ben 10 But apparently they are both technically the same thing? like there’s 2 different crossovers with Ben with The teen titans and one with the justice league so my question is do you consider Ben 10 and by extension The Secret Saturday’s another show in that is canonically in the same world as ben 10? plus both shows are owned by W.B
This video explains every thought I've had as a spider-man dealing with songs bullshit within the last couple years. And of course really dealing with it since 2007. It's very frustrating that a huge film company who has the biggest superhero IP in excistence can't hire writers to draft a cohesive plan for using their assets intelligently. Smh ya know
This isn't just a problem with Spiderman, it's a problem with most Super Hero movies post Avengers: Endgame. I think you need to bring back most if not all Super Hero movies back to street level. Spiderman and all of the Avengers cast heroes had their fun with the Thanos/infinity stones arc. Now that it's done, it's time to go back to square one. Let separate heroes be their own characters again. They have their own lives to live and cities to protect. It's ok if some Cities like New York have more than one hero and they happen to work together now and again like Daredevil and Spiderman, but you really don't need any bigger scales than that for movies. Less is more. That's a lesson that's painfully obvious these studios and corporations refuse to learn or remember.
Hey Jay! Been a subscriber for years. If you're up for it, a cool video idea piggybacking off of this one could be your ideas on what a Spider-Man 4/TASM3/MCU Spidey 4 could look like. You already posed a lot of critical on-point questions to continue their stories. Why not come up with an outline, complete with cast of characters, story beats, and ending? You're on to something, especially with Spider-Man 4. I think you're capable of even writing a whole screenplay if you put your mind to it. I would love to see what you come up with.
It’s a shame these characters, often being adapted by people who care about them, are shepherded by people who just see them as money-makers… I’m sure, I hope, there are exceptions but more times than not, characters like Spider-Man get poorly handled for the sake of a bottom line… and, honestly, I’m fascinated as to how it keeps happening. This isn’t a new idea, it’s a tale as old as time at this point and it just makes me think *why*; history is an ever revolving door that, at one point or another, comes back around as if nothing happened and to see these kinds of characters, who belong on the big screen, get thrown around and/or discarded for the sake of profit (or lack thereof sometimes); thanks for airing out your frustrations, you’re not the only one.
In my opinion, if they dont want to do Spider-Man (Tom, Tobey, or Andrew) stuff without it being "big" they should realistically be using other Spider heroes that (as far as Im aware) people really enjoy. I believe they announced Nic Cage is doing a Noir thing, but to this day I'm shocked we haven't gotten a true Spider-Man 2099 solo film or show. Everything about him is awesome, especially with ATSV giving him essentially his entire kit (both the cape and the wingsuit). The decisions they keep making really seem like they don't want to make money, for some odd reason. Whether it's some greedy vision or incompetence, I feel like people just want Spider-Man movies. Me personally I would be open to seeing an Amazing Spider-Man universe with a Peter who is more in line with Web of Shadows or Shattered Dimensions personality (and maybe even, you know, do those plotlines. I'd kill to see a Web of Shadows movie or movie trilogy). We're just gonna have to see where we end up (Im not against seeing another big movie, to be clear. I think that using Spiderverse or the Sinister Six can work, they'd just have to do it right). (I also realized I never slotted it in but my absolute favorite movie is Spider-Man 2, with No Way Home being number 2).
Yep Sony is all over the place with doing these ridiculous spin-offs Spidey villains movies that no one ask for at all definitely a disappointing with so much potential they can do with Spider Man like doing a 2099 Miguel O Hera movie or Sam Raimi Spider Man 4 for example projects that everyone actually want overall in my opinion
My favorite Spider-Man movies are Spider-Man into the spiderverse and across the spiderverse and Sam rami Spider-Man movies and the mcu Spider-Man movies mostly because I grew up with these Spider-Man movies at least in my opinion.
Personally nothing would make me so happy but to see mayday Parker spider-girl in a movie because that would be really awesome and badass in my opinion.
They really missed their opportunity to reveal venom was in the amazing spider-man universe and just play off of that. It would be great to have andrew back
One of the problems is that the spiderman IP in the hands of Sony is largely cut off from the rest of its source material. Both Sony and DC have shown that they really can knock it out of the park with their animated offerings. The Spider-Verse films and 'Young Justice' for example are consistently incredible. I think that they should allow Marvel to reintegrate spiderman and all associated characters back into Marvel, but only after Marvel has improved the MCU and focus on quality again over quantity.
@@justinsider7890 yes and in fact if you want my advice I highly recommend checking out spidergirl mayday Parker complete collections because those volumes contain her original series and are freaking fantastic in my opinion.
I really hope they don't do a spider-gwen film, so tired of that overused character who isnt even that good and only exists because Gwen was popular around the time tams 2 came out, spider-girl "mayday Parker" deserves more
@@hawaianmobster1579 Crazy thought but it's possible to enjoy both. I'd love to see Gwen AND Mayday cause I actually enjoy the Spider-Man cast of characters.
@@hawaianmobster1579 I'm very tired of hearing "they're overrated" every time a character gets popular. You don't like her, cool, a lot of us do. I would want to see Mayday as well but that doesn't have to be an either or situation.
@@anhonestrussian7056 i didnt say, overrated, i said overused, and she is in fact overused, and in most of the times she is used in anything, she doesnt really add much of value, if you enjoy her character, fine by me, but i dont like her to much, and i wish they stopped shoving her into everything, her character doesnt really add much, and it isnt an amazing character either, she is just meh, nothing remarkable, only her outfit desing is good, but thats about it for me
