A way I thought we could have all 3 protagonists focused on in the final case is to have Apollo as the prosecutor instead of edgeworth, will make sense why a difficult opponent because knows how Phoenix works and uses perceive, this role fully shows his spiral of negative character arc and make it even more emotional and tense, becomes prosecutor where Gavin gives him his badge as a reverse edgeworth as defence , making Gavin actually important in the game, gives his badge because sees how desperate Apollo needs to find out the truth.
What human being thinks that harassment and stalking is what teenagers do.... lmfao! No. That's what a desperately insecure person does, someone who had a shit childhood and probably shittier parents. Your morals come from your parents first and foremost. Harassment and stalking is just who he is, and who he is is how he was raised. He needs therapy for it or he will never change. He may very well be suffering from childhood c-ptsd and emotional neglect, that kind of thing can lead to narcissistic personality disorder. Narcissism is very common these days and even 1/6 people are thought to have actual NPD. Leffen is a VERY narcissistic person. Saying something so fucked like "I don't respect you because of your mental health." It's obvious that he's DEEPLY insecure about his own terrible mental health and if he's got NPD he has no compassion for anyone and lashes out in the worst way at something he LOATHES about himself. This is how a mentally ill teenager deals with their own shit, they internalize it and lash out externally at things that remind them of it. This child was obviously taught as a child that anything but perfect mental health is an essential thing to being human. It's really sad. His ego will have complete control over him, framing mental health issues as something he should have an extreme phobia and denial over.
The egos on those two are just insanely inflated toddler-tier narcissistic ego. Han's ego is the size of his hair, it actually inflates out like that because of the insanely high pressure in his head from his ego squeezing everything else out. And then Magnus... imagine having such a fragile ego that you actually accuse one of the best Chess players in the world of cheating simply because you lost a single game and you got butthurt... Why is this shit not condemned more? The world desperately needs way more self-awareness.
To conclude, i believe one needs deep undestanding of chess, including statistical analysis. I think there are only a few people able to do that... (I don't argue to be able to conclude, but many of the arguments in this video are flawed and seem to be made only to make the video more thought provoking)
The witchhunt/dogpile/herd mentality of accusing people of cheating is addictive and is frankly as old as time. The whole cancel culture phenomenon stems from the same roots. Just look at the pro CSGO cheating witchunt for the Fnatic players in particular because people couldn't handle them winning back in the day. This wouldn't be the first case of "haha meme is funny" obscuring the actual truth. Whatever path is the easiest for the crowd to follow will always be the one they choose
13:45 Hans' coach is not an unbiased source of information unfortunately, as he has his own reputation to defend. Seems to attack Carlsen too much in one of the paragraphs.
The bit about rate of progress for Niemann was such shitty nonsense. It's like they assume your potential is set in stone at a young age and you progress in a similar fashion to everyone else who gets good. Not everyone takes chess seriously when they're young, and young, promising players fall out of practice because they lose interest or drive. All of that is normal. To insinuate cheating because someone gets way better some day is to ignore all the complexities that life can throw at you. You can't only improve when you're a kid, and you can't only decline as you age. Utterly ridiculous. What Magnus did was unprofessional and cruel. Even if you're sure that he cheated, and you have no evidence, you don't go public with it. I know Hikaru and Magnus are friends, so his pretending that he was presenting an unbiased examination of the situation when he was only barely upholding the pretense and taking Magnus' side on all of it, all while signal boosting one side of the story was pretty low. As friends, and professionals in the sport, they should hold themselves and each other to higher standards. One of my friends is probably 30-40 years my senior, don't actually know his age, but I used to beat him handily. My own skill wavers, but he got way better because in retirement he finally had time to study, the drive to do it, and the money for coaching. Now, I'm lucky to swing a draw.
42:52 is 1 game every other day like a grind for chess players ? Im starting to see why tyler 1 is scaring people if he can do 40 games a day consistently
Imma be honest here. Loli and pedo are two different things. Yes it's bad. But saying they're the same is just like saying someone who loves playing doom Ethernal and someone who loves watching gore cartel shit are the same.
Hans cheating a few years ago and still being skeptical now isn’t punishing him forever it’s been a few years. It’s disingenuous for you to keep saying “he cheated as a teenager so shouldn’t get blame now”. He was a teenager last year. You act like he’s 35 and people are still holding it against him
