STATUS (04/03/2015):
I'm back to semi-regular uploads for 2016, but I don't think I'll be hitting my one-a-month goal quite yet. I am still actively working on new videos however. I hope to have the next one online sometime in May. Also planned for this year is a new video series on reloading, and a follow-up to my ammo storage video, showing how I organize my shotshells.
2-3 dollar price tag for the 100 cases 10 years ago i cant imagine what they are now i'm about to put 300 for a can of 1k from sg just got my first firearm 3 days ago glock 45 and 20 bucks per 50 at the local store is killing me... FJB
Man that’s freakin awesome… You answered my question perfectly for the 16 gauge but I stuck around for the full history lesson…😂 I recently got a 16 gauge New Empire double barrel shotgun and it literally doesn’t have any information about chamber length or anything written on the barrel and I was like oh lawd I don’t know what to do…😂 Thanks for the awesome video and answering my question…👍🏼
I knew it, to good to be true. When he said it’s worth slowing down and lining up the part I know right then, fraudhack, he knows what he is doing. Really dude best video like this I have seen. I used to nick, scrape, and ding mine every time until videos came out. And yours are the beat. Its like your there showing us exactly what to do.
The graph at 3:05 is really good. I see online where many claim, "Birdshot sucks for home defense." My 1st question is what size birdshot? 95% of them are thinking ~#8 and have no clue. I've got many thousands of rounds of #8 hunting dove and quail. But also #6, #4 and BB loads going after other game. It's all "birdshot" but way different in effects on critters and walls. So thanks for this!
EXCELLENT VIDEO!!!! Clear instructions, great detailed information that made it easy for me to pick up the procedure. Thank You for taking the time, sir!!!! I appreciate it!!! :)
Another gem. Helped me in recoverting back to standard configuration after having installed and extension and filed down the dimples that allow the plastic spring retainer to lock in. This is a much simpler setup!
It’s hard for me to turn my back on mossberg because I favor the control layout, but I am considering an 870. If I did I might go pistol grip tactical because the safety is now in a great place for pistol grip, but on the other hand I like the wood stock and forend as well. Too many options 🤔.
I am more knowledgeable of Mossberg's. Especially the 590 series. As expected the Remington 870 is different. But not impossible. Now I got to find a friend with an 870 to practice what I learned today.
Could buy an 870 like I’m going to do. I’m a mossberg man myself too. Had an M590A1 long ago. Sold it! Now I just have a standard 5 shot 500 18.5 inch barrel. I will own an 870 at some point soon probably.
Instead of messing w the outside pin hole, i tapped (gently) the Left Shell Latch's hole's edge (my Latch was shifted toward the front of the gun) to align w the rcvr hole w a thin flat scrw drvr. It worked fine w/o ruining either hole.
