I have that same feeling at uni... the way they teach things and the environment of uni is not always what you need to be optimistic. I agree with you fully that you can be well educated without uni. my degree, which i will be finishing soon (i need the security of knowing that i will always be able to get a good job) does not teach you to be a self starter, and as a business owner it has always frustrated me to be around people who are not keen to build something for themselves or take ownership over their lives. you will do great
i live in iran and thier schools are very worse than your schools they dont have a large classes they are very very little we dont have cumputer class we dont have library , Playground students dont learn what should they do after graduate

Technically we have "Field Trips" which are more educational and informative, then you have "School class Trips" more casual like recreational/holiday/theme park orientated. Then you have those that combine them, like zoo/museum.
