what really makes this funny as we know whats obviously happening here....her brother and the player know that shes not normally like this...but for your other friends,this is thier first impression of her.
We were already shocked with a sudden “phase 2” with Volo whipping out giratina, and we thought “Ok I see you, that’s cool, but I can barely beat it” Suddenly we got attacked with the most dangerous weapon that we thought only the main character could possibly have: *Plot Armor*
I love how it's not even the music itself that makes people's panic kick in, it's the fact that it's electric guitar. The most recognizable instrument there is for letting someone know shit is about to go down.
Tbh, I personally really dislike Dudunsparce just because of its design. And it's not because "Whaaaaa why isnt it big and badass dragon?" but more just because of how... lazy of a design concept it is? And yeeeah lovers of the thign will be like "Gotcha thats the joke, youre giving GF exactly what they wanted!" which I think is kind of a cheap way to try and discredit any actual criticisms one might have about the design, imo. Like, I definitely think there were much more creative ways to make a "lame" and "underwhelming" design while making it also not feel like such a copypaste job? Also I feel like, at it's core, Dudunsparce existing misses the point of Dunsparce too. Because like, if Dunsparce is supposed to be a rare but worthless Pokemon that can't do anything, really, then I feel like giving it an evolution with improved, kind of decent stats is also missing the point. If you ask me if they really wanted to commit to the bit, Dudunsparce should have like, just had the same stats as Dunsparce or something. I do also still stand by my opinion that the whole line should have always been Ground-type, though lol
The only thing i hope for is that they do not call thhe mega legendarys "primal"again...smthng like Ancient Xerneas or Yveltal would be neat .. or smthng like celestial zygard .. well...lets wait and see
When I saw Larry was one of the elite four I was like “oh no not again, WHY HIM AGAIN. My guy they have better give you extended paid vacation days with extra pay for being in 2 high responsible positions at once in 2 different locations”.
This battle was especially amazing because the developers knew we'd all start using Strong Style to finish a battle with flair, and Giratina was designed to punish us for it
