Hahah color blindness is very rare in women, I think she was more interested in establishing a visual signature that makes her photos easily identifiable rather than good
I love how you get shadier and shadier with each video haha. My favourite of the month was An Le's Vogue Portugals cover. I agree that the pose could have been slightly more dynamic, but man, that the colour combination just speaks to me
I think the fashion critic space is too saturated and I’d rather focus on the things that make me happy and can provide some education/ perspective. With Vogue world, I do not understand the purpose. I am more interested when I look at the shows that no biracial black boys are booking shows, as if they no longer exist…
I read that she and Mick have a romance ❤❤❤ofcourse she was only 20 year😂when she started and be with them all the time❤❤and Mick be in loved to her and she to him ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Matthew, thanks for your comment, but critiques are part of any academic experience in the arts, they are not a personal attack on the artist. I'm a big fan of Leibovitz, even if I dislike a lot of her color grading. Annie's harshest critic was Susan Sontag, her partner for years, and that period produced some of her most beautiful work. If you'd like to learn more about Leibovitz, I think you'd enjoy this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xxx9lWUA3J8.html
I agree. i'm so glad someone else is calling this out cause the photoshoots themselves were tacky too. like they're not doing justice to their beauty and legacy
dear friend, I love 😍 the videos about covers. Could you please do an in depth detailed video about China and Taiwan vogue. 😅I love to know your opinion 😊
I do feature them sometimes, but a lot of the covers are average so I don't talk about them. I can't go over every magazine so I try to focus on the ones where I have a stronger reaction to them. Stay tuned for next month!
Hi Marko, I hope you're well been tuning to your work and you've been great, tried to e-mail you and got no response till now. I established an agency this year and I'm trying my best to grow all the way from South Africa Cape town, new in the industry but I'm willing to do the work asking for a zoom Q & A if you don't mind thamks
Just a bit of trivia ...that's actual a Grotesque not a Gargoyle, a Gargoyle must me able to have water from the drains coming out of its mouth. ( as in the word 'gargling') Love your channel, especially the Cover Battles... I learn a lot as a Photographer.
Whereas I do agree about what the video was about, the way she was treated, when she was literally one of the biggest supermodels at the time (unbelievable) I also think she shouldn't have come back especially in such a critical year where models like Natasha, Snejana and other thin models were the trend. Crazy what happened to her and the same industry is hiring plus size models now.
Haha thanks, I’m just a fan of when magazines represent their culture. Vogue Philippines is a prime example of this, they are always featuring their own talent.
You made good points with this video, but bashing someone’s struggles with substance use addiction isn’t okay. We could have just left out the personal insults out of the actual commentary.
I love her too! My preference is for her early work, I gravitate to a more natural aesthetic. If you are a fan of hers, you’ll enjoy this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xxx9lWUA3J8.html
I would have to argue that you are depending on the fashion world to make a name and a channel for yourself since you do.. what exactly?? Are you a designer ?? A photographer? Edition?? What do you do besides bitchy gay commentary?
That girl had always looked like Kate even when she was young. Even on that picture of her accident she looks like Kate. You sound hateful and this video looks like a personal attack and I feel for you. Do better.
Did you watch the same video? There is nothing I’m saying bad about Denise, but the obsession with 90’s Kate Moss and using a celebrity impersonator for a Vogue editorial, retouching off her scars to look more like Kate, Vogue Arabia’s low standards of quality in this editorial and beyond.
@@THEMODELGENE you called her a counterfeit version, spoke about her appearance like you have no idea that airbrushing editing is a thing in the fashion industry. Every model gets it. Kate has spoken about it herself. So has Linda etc. the way you came at this woman was in extreme poor taste as if you did anything that was of contribution to the industry aside from bitchy gay commentary when you are not a designer a model a photographer or anything.
@@THEMODELGENE magazines retouch EVERYONE and she doesn’t need retouching to look more like Kate. Even in that accident picture you used she looks like Kate. You sound extremely bitter and angry. Why not try and find your own way to do something related to fashion that isn’t bashing people? How can you talk about her or vogue Arabia using that image of Kate moss when you use everyone else’s and their accomplishments to build a channel and make videos?? That’s like the pit calling the kettle black.
@@THEMODELGENE man there is already a lot of bitchy gay white boy commentary online. Maybe pick a lane that’s different? Just sain. You don’t add anything particularly interesting or that has not done before to demand others do that. Look inward first hunny.
