The black piece under the nut on mine spins. Holding the Green part does nothing to facilitate loosening nut. Is that another problem? I've yet to be able to loosen nut by holding the green thing..and I haven't been able to hold the black piece on top well enough to break it loose. Please let me know if I'm missing something? Thank you so much for the video…
Wow, thank you so much. I was about to give up, but,...... of course there is You Tube. Such a simple and obvious issue, and so easy to fix Thank you again.
if that power does not work at all like fails to let string out when you tap on ground . Stop working all together , Can buy a replacement put a new on the shaft ?
My Ego string trimmer winds sting in just fine. However, when I bump/hit/strike the bottom against a firm surface it does not release the string. I have rewound it three times, same result. I'm thinking I should have purchased a different string trimmer.
I added the 3 blade weed whacker attachment. I hit a ant hill and stopped the blade. The battery pack motor will no longer power the lower unit. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
My husband was ready to buy a new trimmer because the string wouldn't load. I found this video and he had it fixed in 5 minutes. Thank you so much! Your video was clear, concise, and exactly what we needed!
Unfortunately it didn’t work for me. I just wish there was a way to load the line manually when the power load stops working. It’s a shame. I loved this trimmer
Okay-finally figured out the main problem. It’s the line thickness. It simply doesn’t have enough torque to wrap up .095. Don’t go higher than 0.080 and you should be fine
Yeah so there are tons of videos out there and I’ve experienced this too where it’s perfectly clean yet still doesn’t feed. I think there’s a fundamental design flaw.
I have both and there both 2 stroke 50:1 fuel mix, here's the problem with both, neither 1 is a sthl 2 stroke engine, all these knock off 2 strokes are garbage they run great till it's time for a tune up and that's where the problems begin, if it's not a sthl or even huskavarna trying to tune them rite will have u pulling ur hair out, they touchy, sensitive n temperamental, put a sthl 2 stroke off a chainsaw on a cultivator it will run for ever with no issues
I had the same problem where the line wouldn’t feed. However, when I dismantled the head there wasn’t any debris in there. I put it all back together and it kinda worked a little better than before, but not perfect.
