Can't wait for you to see Dune part 2. Also, I love when you ask a question, the movie answers you right away most of the time. You would be a great test audience.
The emperor sent House Atreides to Arrakis to die, so it's only fitting that their arrival should be announced with the sound of bagpipes. It's essentially an epic funeral procession.
Batman and Mr Freeze Subzero is another great movie Batman Under the Red Hood is a great movie about the Second Robin Batman Beyond Return of the Joker is a great movie
you might be interested in a movie called Ready Player One, a book that Spielberg turned into a movie. It contains many movie and pop cultural references. Including the Iron Giant. It's great to watch him go into action against the bad guys, alongside millions of other people, vehicles, weapons, etc. (possible since Spielberg owns the rights to so many of them)
6:51, Ed Harris who plays Admiral Caine famously played Mercury astronaut (and later Shuttle astronaut) John Glenn in the movie The Right Stuff. Glenn Powell who plays Hangman also played John Glenn in the movie Hidden Figures. Ed Harris also played a misanthropic billionaire who funds an immersive resort for the 1% in the tv show Westworld. In this resort the ultra rich live out their darkest fantasies with robot hosts and hostesses in settings that match various times in human history. Over time the robots begin to replace the guests. His character liked the park location that looks like the American Old West..Drone Ranger indeed.
23:25 😂 You were right. They just buried it. They didn't do any kind of ritual or anything... Lore wise it's because the humans were just people, they didn't have powers or crazy protection spells or rituals. And it got found by accident, it's not like anyone was even looking for it, which kind of points to how poorly it was hidden. But what's funny and kind of ironic is that in the present day, while humans STILL don't have any powers or protection spells, they were THE ONLY ONES to create something that could block the signal from the Mother-box, which is why it couldn't be found until they took it out of the cube they had the box in. So technology is stronger than gods and legends apparently.
This movie was more star wars than most of the others. It had a very similar tone to return of the Jedi. All the themes of star wars were there. Kylo's story was the most compelling of all. I'm shocked you see it differently. Even fans who don't like these movies mostly like Kylo the most. Bringing force users back from the dead doesn't take away from anything. It's part of the lore.
You missed the whole point of the fight. Rey was surrending to the dark side out of anger for Kylo destroying the wayfinder. Kylo wanted to turn her, that's why he didn't go all out with his power and kill her. When Leia reached out through the force, Rey sensed she was trying to turn him to the light, which Rey always sensed In him since the last movie and she realized she was going down the wrong path. that's why she chose to heal Kylo instead to complete Leia's attempt. In those moments Kylo fully became Ben again, that's why the scar on his face was gone also. The force memory of Han was his final step. It all made sense.
Let's go. Not many people realise that Billy The Kid is the guy who dies on elevator. You probably get lots of requests but if you get time could you react to a film called Young Guns you will see Jack aka Billy The Kid last the whole film 😂
Christian Bale was a okay Batman. The Dark Knight is a masterpiece. Begins is boring AF. Rises is terrible. Pattinson is my favorite because of its comics accuracy while I'll always have a soft spot for Burton's films.
So: Anakin was supposed to be the Chosen One, but now he's not because Palpatine somehow survived. How did he survive? Well, apparently that's too difficult a question to answer. Rey is a classic example of a Mary Sue. She does everything on her own, doesn’t need anyone’s help, her decisions are always correct, and she has no internal conflict because she literally has no personality. By taking Luke’s role and undermining Anakin’s character arc, Rey has become the most hated character and now she’s set to get Episode X. The only thing I can say is that I am eagerly waiting for this film because any rational person would run as far away from the sequels and Rey as possible after the strongest backlash, yet they’ve decided to dig deeper. Finn's entire role in the film: Reeeeeeey! Honestly, it made me sad to see the actor who was so excited for Episode 7, only to declare he’d had enough after Episode 9. His character was humiliated. And I have a question: At the beginning, there’s information that Palpatine broadcasted a message that he would soon invade. Why did he do that? Ah, so the film could happen. How did Palpatine create such a fleet and where did he get the crew after losing the war? Well, they’re children of cultists. So after his defeat, Palpatine organized an orgy. Genius idea. Bonus: So the Republic fell The New Order also fell And Palpatine and his bizarre fleet Everything suggests there should be anarchy in the galaxy, but there can’t be a bad ending, so a federation has to appear out of nowhere.
Not to invalidate your point but it just dawned on me that saying joker is over-used takes away from him as a whole character, joker is the co-Star of Batman’s story
Now that you've seen the "Sad Ending" for Leia, Han, and Luke. I suggest you watch ru-vid.com/group/PLlKJO4D2BftV-zZFT7gtxJt9VfT2MsQIM The "Happy Ending", although this is now in the "Legends" series. But the story was official cannon of Star Wars for about 25 years. There is also a CGI animated version done pretty much by a single fan, and some voice actors. ru-vid.com/group/PLIXGhtpYcgXdpREUecruJR1Yy3h8w4d-s
This is by far my least Star Wars anything. The reason simply being that they put so many events in this movie but never bothered to explain anything. The Emperor is back? How? Why? I mean, we did see him fall down that shaft on the second Death Star where he very obviously exploded. Why is he alive? Why center the entire plot of the movie around something we have never heard about before? It's basically a treasure hunt but in part with a really bad choice of locations. The wreck of the second Death Star? We saw it explode and there was very clearly nothing of that size left. And how would anyone know where that wayfinder thingy was? How and why was the dagger created? Anyone supposed to know about that thingy would have obviously known where it was. No need to create the dagger in the first place. Also, Ray chose the name of Skywalker. Why? Why not taking the name of her parents, even if it was Palpatine. They tried to save her. It was her grandfather who was the bad guy, not the rest of the family. And then there is the final battle. First of all those ships all looked like regular Star Destroyers with an additional weapon attached to it. Why not create a new and way better design, fitting for that purpose? And the battle itself is, in my opinion by far the worst choreographed space battle I have ever seen. As a matter of fact this is not me hating on modern Star Wars. I genuinely think they could have created something really good here. But the entire thing feels as if they were way too impatient to release it while the movie would have benefitted from another rewrite or two.
I am not upset that they brought him back. What I don't like is that they didn't explain it properly. They showed the clones, sure. But this is one plot-point that should have been important enough to elaborate. A few short sentences would have been enough. It would have been even better had they given a hint or two in the previous movie. They treated it as something that wasn't really important, but it was. Though I guess they are currently making up for it with the various TV shows. But unlike many people who tend to damn the entrie franchise for one entry they don't like I prefer to see it like just one part I didn't like. It won't lead to me not allowing myself to enjoy the rest of the franchise. I hope I could clear up what I was talking about.
@@TeeJayDesastron yeah same here. They should have explained how he came back. I agree with you on that. Even reading the novelizations of these movies goes into further detail
