Dear Stephen, I loved your talk with Shawn in this video. I have a request: please make a video developing the points you touched upon in this talk. I am referring in specific to the connection between different diets and their impact on the planet. Here are the time codes: 53:50 planet 1:05:40 environment. Recently, a good friend of mine said, "Beef tastes great. But it is so bad for the enviroment." Then, he followed this up by explaining that cows produce methane, and 10% of the negative changes in the climate can be attributed to this methane production by cows that are raised for beef. I gently encouraged him to look into a counterview to this objection to eating beef. I also said that human health shouldn't take the backseat to the environment. He was open to my feedback, but unfortunately I couldn't refer him to any studies, specific numbers, or other points that might motivate him to rethink the belief that beef is bad for the environment. I know he is an open-minded person, who would be willing to educate himself. I presume there might be others in the same situation as him, where they feel guilty about eating beef because of the mainstream anti-beef beliefs that have been fed to him. It'll mean a lot to me - and I am sure to many of your viewers - if you could help us explain the impact of the carnivore diet on the environment, and of course contrast that with the impact of vegetarian or vegan diets on the environment. Have a beautiful day!
Hi thank you. I appreciate your comment. Just so your friend can get a grip. Cows don't produce methane, they consume it and emit it. Methane has a 12 year cycle so your friend needs to look at the actual science. This point and others are included in a brief video I did about this sort of thing, which can be viewed here. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1x5SjeST5KE.html.
Your body is healing at a cellular level - it can be a year before you see changes depending on what your body needs to fix. Kelly Hogan talks about her experience of this in her videos. So even though you aren't seeing anything, it's happening and carnivore works for all, there are no people it doesn't work for. This is not a diet, it's a way of eating and you don't do it then return to eating crap.
vPlease, Allow me to ask a couple of question about the Carnivore diet .(Sorry if i already posted before but i dont know what to do): I am now over 215 days into a Strick Carnivore diet (I only eat meat and eggs. Nothing else but 500-600g of COCKED meat(Chuck steak) plus 7-8 eggs in a day. All Divided in 2 meals) I am now 35 years old, 181cms tall, 180lbs(+-81,5kg) at +-22%BF. I go to the gym 2-3 times a week.(lift weigths to help sustain or increase muscle mass and assist fat loss- HIT Workouts) I started the Carnivore diet to improve my body composition. I was a HEALHTY guy with NO chronic illnesses or health problems. I lost about 17 lbs(8kg) in the first 9 weeks (Mostly water) but since then I haven't been able to change my body composition. I have now gone more than 8 weeks without registering any body changes (weight loss, decrease in BF% or measurements like waist, legs, arms and neck ).In fact i have gained 2,5 lbs(1KG between weeks 10-12, but it might be just water. I still need to lose at least another 15lbs of fat to reach my goal of being below 15%BF. However, I don't see how the Carnivora Diet will facilitate this process. I have not experienced most of the benefits common to Carnivores (Improved sleep, more energy/disposition, etc.) nor have I changed my body composition significantly I am now over 12 weeks with no body fat lost. So I would like to ask a few question about the Carnivore diet: 1- How long should I extend my experience with the Carnivore diet to be able to lose the excess bodyfat I still have?(at least 15lbs of fat) 2- What is the minimum time you should maintain a Carnivora diet when it is not working for you?(how many weeks or months) 3-Is the Carnivore diet effective for those who are aldreay healthy and just need to improve body composition? I am affraid this way of eating is too restrictive, for a healthy person, with no aditional benefit from any other whole food diet. I am also not a bot. I have been posting this question as often as i can because i dont know what to do with my lack of results. PS: Most of my time as a Carnivore i have not experience most Carnivore benefits or lost any body fat. Also, Sorry for any grammar mistake, i am Brazilian and english is not my first language. I am also not a bot. I have been posting this question as often as i can because i dont know what to do with my lack of results. Thank you for your attention!
My father in Pakistan is diagnosed with CKD stage 5. His doctors have put him on a total plant based diet. He is told that Animal Protein could harm his kidneys. Can you please guide what shall we do?

Have always eaten mostly mean and high protein. Ready to go full carnivore. Anyone have a good book to recommend (cook or other) that will help me achieve the change in a healthy way?
Thank you both so much for such great information..can I please ask I heard Matthew's question regarding salt & micro plastics..did 8 hear right that Maldon sea salt flakes for months as I saw carnivore Ray using it on IG It's hard to keep up with what is good or bad anymore 😢
Live to 120? Which demographic eats this way for decades and is even hitting 80's? Not saying it's not possible, but we need to be honest that we haven't seen it happen yet.
Ketogenic or carnivore very close to the same interesting and it has worked for me Keto have not gone straight carnivore yet thinking about it for a month
I like to share my story as well. My GfR is 40. Kept a low-protein diet, fresh fruits and vegetables. No processed foods. Green tea, garlic, red onions…. Plenty of H20. Eat as clean as possible.
I used to go to the gym for 1 1/2 hours. I’m 71 now If I go in and run intervals for 20 mins and then cool down and I’m out of there. My weight day is 15 minutes weights and then walk for 25 mins, so 45 mins ! I just need to do one more day during the week. But with work I find hard to get up go to the gym early in the morning and later in the day I’m going home .
Thankyou Valerie for sharing your experience over a very very long period of time & the solution to the issues that you suffered. You mentioned the solution to your anxiety you suffered from is something that I have suffered from over a long time, but since including beef steaks on an almost daily basis, my anxiety disappeared, it is gone...whoosh...gone from eating large amounts of meat! I am omnivore but feel okay given what I eat. Valerie, take care & thankyou once again for sharing your experience.
Another amazing show...you carnivor experts are so generous with your knowledge. I am sharing it and bringing people on my journey to optimum health. Thank you so much 😊
Interesting to hear your take on the daily minerals from keto chow, Richard. Ken Barry helped develop them. So it’s cool to hear this from someone who knows that the ratio are spot on.
I’ve been told to have more fibre in my diet because I have tearing in my colon, they said eventually I will need it removed. But since then I have been trying ketovore. After hearing this story I’m not as nervous about going full carnivore. Thank you
I developed chronic kidney disease in my late twenties because I was injured by a toxic pharmaceutical I was prescribed by my doctor for a minor issue. For the past several years I was stable at stage 2, eGFR of 80 with mild proteinuria, around 140 mg per day. For the past several months, I have been eating nothing but meat, eggs, butter, and several low-carb fruits - tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, eggplants, and zucchinis, as well as coconut oil, and a bit of olive oil, and drinking nothing but water. My GFR is now 112, so I guess that would put me back in stage 1.
The ADA would not return my email’s on there contact page . When I got my type 2 Under-control and shared it with other family members . They refused to acknowledge us. SHAME ON THEM
In august 2020 my eGFR was 14. I went keto immediately against medical advice. Went on transplant list at Vanderbilt. Been carnivore since 1/2024. My last eGFR was 29. I also went from stage 5 CKD to currently stage 3. My body is healing my kidneys with diet. No carbs. I eat OMAD meat, eggs, butter, beef tallow, some cheese. Sugar carbs are poison!!
