Didn't fans lose their minds when the 1st Doctor broke the 4th wall and wished everyone a "Merry Christmas" during 'The Feast of Steven' episode. 😂 This is a hundred times better!
A heavy smoker but also worked himself to death, but he was a major part of the solid foundation of a TV show that is still around 61 years later. R.I.P good sir.
Always great to see additional footage of the doctors why hasn't this made it to a blu ray boxset hopefully it's added when they release a season 13 boxset.
Watching the unearthlychild is just wow Williamhartnell will always be the "true first doctor" not the uncanny timeless woke child storyline we have now
Anyone else find it hilarious that the Brigadier's first instinct to reach out to the Doctor was writing him a letter and somehow through time and space it actually reached him?
I haven’t seen that in nigh on 50 years. A few cultural references that would’ve been lost on a modern of audiences like “fighting the flab” from Terry Wogan’s radio two show. Still quite amusing. “Gerroff the scarf!”
Imagine being the floor manager who has to keep the production on track, in spite of the endless comic genius surrounding you. Respect to the person who gets to yell "QUIET PLEASE!" repeatedly all day at work...
So it was nade for an inflation adjusted £250k. Compare this to the film The Marvels which cost $300m Dr Who showed how gripping stories could be made on a minuscule budget. I wish they coukd revert to Adult stories again with practical effects
My only complaint is that I wish that while Tom Baker was talking about the apple dumpling gang he would mention Bill Bixby! How ironic that 2 years later Bill Bixby would be in the Incredible Hulk TV series!
Apparently the Yeti actors had a difficult time too, because of how bulky their costumes were, they couldnt stablise themselves and also had a tendancy to slip and fall.
