Hmm! Problem! You suggest AFTER your settings, to move it in to Manual Mode. Firstly, when doing my settings I am either going to already be in Manual or Bulb Mode?

There’s a reason people don’t come in winter. We’re coming in Oct; staying in the valley for four days during the week. Hopefully, that’ll help avoid the crowds some. :)
Where have you been all my life??? Finally, a real photographer that knows how to deliver material and priceless content, who doesn't pretend to be the second coming. Make it fun, keep it light, but still get the message across. Your videos are priceless. And your techniques are spot on. Thanks so much .
Hmm..This bloke does not have a career in comedy and might be better just explaining things simply. He obviously has a wealth of knowledge but his flippant delivery spoils an otherwise interesting subject.😢
holy shit i finally understand what it is properly. this is actually great since im getting a camera in a few days when i get my yt money and now i can take some really long exposure stuff from my window. hell yeah
You should clarify that it won't remove reflection, it removes glare. Direct and reflected light travel in a straight line which passes through the lines of the filter, no you can't see the lines. Glare travels in a wave, which the lines can clock to a point. The only way to remove a direct reflection, is to change your angle to the subject.
Thank you for 6 tips photographing Seascapes! I’m in Dahican Beach Mati City Davao Oriental Philippines 🇵🇭 staying at a resort on the beach! Thank you, Linda
Thanks. I finally know. I remember the old film camera where i used to rarely buy ISO 200 but allways 400 as i made for faster shooting in dull light, but at the cost of quality in the low light. I never knew what it was. LOL
I found that arch. It was supposed to have a ladder there but when I got there the ladder is no where to be found I didn’t really take any good pictures there
Thanks Josh...Help! How do I best deal with sun glare on the water when shooting video of surfing? ND or CPL? I'm using a Canon R5C with RF100-500 lens. Great video content. Thanks for posting.
Understanding Circular Polarizing Lens filters: Light reflected by water surface is horizontally polarized (water itself acts like opposite of polarize filter - instead of letting only one polarization through, it bounces it off). Using a vertical polarization filter filters out the horizontal polarized light reflection therefore you can finally see underwater in photo.
thanks for this vid Joshua. But I'm not quite home. I had 30 or more watermarks and ID plate presets stashed in their LR preset folder. Then came Mac OS, Lightroom CC updates and other storm troopers to break the links. so frigging frustrating. I can't complain to the Dark Forces and YT vids don't help at all. your vid was a big help. maybe one day I will jump into photoshop and try it again.
The PNG file on Joshua's website after I go to download says: "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below" Is this because I am on Mac?
Hi Josh, thank you for the very informative video. I wondered if you had come across creating a hidden layer in Photoshop to protect images online, I think it is called shrink-wrapping? This is an explanation online - Hidden Layers. Place the actual image behind a transparent foreground image. The online image will appear completely normal, but whenever someone tries to right-click and save it, the resulting file will be the blank foreground image - not the background. I can't seem to find any tutorials to learn how to do it.
