I believe every writer has their own kind of magic. I'm here to introduce you to yours and teach you how to use it in your own unique way, with videos and series designed to help you navigate the careful craft of storytelling. Come with me, and I'll show you how to write stories that are meaningful and emotionally fulfilling--stories that feel so real, you can't put them down. Stories that transport you.
This video was super helpful! I had no idea it was that easy to start your own publishing company. Do you think you could make a video just on the process of doing that? Like you said, it does sound complex, but I'm curious about the whole process, like if you need a logo or if that was a design choice you made.
Yours is the third vid on the cycle I've watched and you are the first to ignite understanding and a spark. Thank you! 🌺 On a hopefully not creepy sidenote: Your eyes and eye makeup are magical.. captivating, like, aesthetically ✨
I did a video series on how the movie Megamind fits into the 4 act structure, but to give you some more examples: Prey, Us, Nope, the first LOTR movie (the whole series follows the structure but it can be harder to follow after the first movie), Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and so many more! If you watch my ChatGPT plot structures video, I talk a little about how any movie that uses the Save the Cat structure also technically fits the 4 act structure. Happy writing!
A new subscriber here. :) Not only helpful and valuable information but also a pleasure to listen to. So many content creators speak so fast that I get sensory overload, with you I enjoy and learn. Thank you!
It depends on the nature of the clips. I figured maybe LOTR would be a little more heavily copyrighted because it’s so well known & popular. But so far fighting the strike is going well and the video should be up very soon, so thankfully the fact that I’m using it for educational reasons is very helpful!
While I definitely understand that this was patreon-voted, I definitely have reservations about using AI considering that it steals from artists and plagiarizes work in order to function. NYT has an open lawsuit against it due to the issues with plagiarism. Writers (at the moment) don't have programs such as Nightshade or Glaze to poison AI data sets, and it's up to all of us to be aware of the issues surrounding it so that we can best support our fellow authors and artists. (As a note, my tone here is conversational/educational, I'm not trying to be aggressive or anything.)
AI is a gray area for sure & I don’t really know enough to speak on it, but thankfully ChatGPT just had to scour Google to answer this one haha. This will probably be my only AI-themed video!
“Can anyone tell me the structure of once upon a time in Hollywood?” I, um, well Leo I mean, but Brad, and the thing with the cult, oh but the end, and uh. Bruce Lee is a fake?
I like hints. There’s a series I read a long time ago - it’s old but it’s fun. The Belgariad by David Eddings. It’s a 5 book series. I was so enthralled I read them all in one week. It was such a fun story. There were hints all along and of course, by the end everything tied together. David Eddings wrote a second 5 book series which was a follow up to the Belgariad. I was never able to get into that series as much but The Belgariad I read every 3-4 years. My sister also loves it. So give us hints!!
