I never desired to invest on another scale ever since I got the Timemore Black mirror Pro simply bcoz of the fact that its features is way enough for me to make a nice cup of coffee
Thanks for making this video! I once visited a tea shop in Ho Hot, and we spent hours chatting around a table, where our host poured tea in this method. I had never seen such a tea shop in the U.S.: hundreds of varieties of tea and a whole wall full of tea pots and tea sets. While I was there, I received many varieties of tea as gifts, and I've been enjoying them, but I hope to enjoy them more by following your instructions! I'm also glad to know that tea is more valuable when it is older, since my trip to China was 12 years ago, and I still have much of the tea unopened! Sadly, all the tea is labeled only in Mandarin, so I don't know what sorts of tea are in the packages. No problem, though, since they all smell and taste intriguing, whether I know their names or not!
Just bought 3 Carter Fellow Mugs - Matte White ( special $ 15.00 each ) which I thought was an excellent price All 3 arrived inCarter Move Mug Fellow boxes 12 oz and no dents . I based my purchase off of another Y tuber travel channel. Your review is the most specific and comprehensive and and answered the specifics I was looking for as well as peaked my interest in the other mugs you reviewed. I did customize mine with a silicon sleeve with verticale grips since the outside is kind of slippery and a heavy drop might crack the ceramic interior . Also it is BPA free, the inside guide says no oven,no dishwasher, and no microwave. Hand wash. Use only soft sponge. No course brushes as can scratch exterior or interior ceramic. While not in use store Carter with lid off to prevent unwanted smells. No metal stirring utensils . Rotate splash guard if gets stuck to remove. No children use. I have another ceramic interior mug but no metal which is microwaveable . This is not. Says 12 hrs hot- 24 hrs cold. Heat - LockDouble Wall Vacuum. Leak proof and it fits my Subaru Outback cup holder without rattle or tipping over. You are correct the splash guard and thin lip prevents that dribble of coffee or tea that sometimes gets on your clothes Designed in San Francisco - Made in China. Mine has a Blue Bottle logo on it since it was made for for the Blue Bottle Coffee Co - Maybe surplus inventory since some Amazon sell with colors charge up to $ 40. Carter Move website might have discounts at times. Also if you use loose tea like me that strainer keeps the tea leaves behind when drinking which is a nice feature . It will also stay secure ( the strainer - drip guard ) if you use tea bags.
Review step at 4:00! Removing and cleaning the GROUP HEAD is very important! Expresso grind will collect under the Head/Cap and restrict flow and get gummy affecting flow and taste!. If you have lost your alan/hex tool, use a 3mm alan/hex tool, remove the screw counterclockwise, and with a table knife, GENTLY pry the head loose, rinse, and reinstall. Snug but do not over tighten!
GREAT video mate. I just picked up one of these after using a Barista Pro and your first point ref grind size to basket size was like a light bulb moment. That's what was happening to me and so I adjust for the difference in basket size on my DF64. Good2go now 🙂
Great, now I feel like a GODZILLA drinking my tea! 😆 I drink 2 Liters per day and I like very long brew, 20 min HAHAHA I live in Brazil and everybody is a CoffeeHead here, must be nice drink tea in family ❤
08:00 Yes, I tried tasting the water, with and without rinsing the paper, and rinsing these papers is a waste of time and water. No difference rinsed or not rinsed. Certainly not enough to change the coffee. I find the Kalita to be the most forgiving with regard to the pour , the temperature, and the grind etc.
My tie guan yin comes from tea bag so it’s $5.95 a box. 😅 Even so the grade are not as best as those premium brands. But it’s still enjoyable for poor people like me. My brother love to make tea in using Kung fu tea set. He often have me drink the proper tea instead of those not so hygienic tea bags he calls them. 😅
How to turn off sleep mode? Something like that? My machine is turning off every time its in idle for 30mins and it's turning off on its own. And everytime the machine turns off, my settings for my calibration is resetting. And my machine is 2days old.
TLDR; Product lasted 5 months, customer service does not even reply. I purchased the Timemore Pro scale. Living in Germany, there is basically no customer service for this product. I would never buy Timemore again. I am posting this under every review of this product.
Very good demonstration, thank you! I like to watch the Chinese period shows where they grind tea and impress each other. I went to a 4 star restaurant in Asia and ordered jasmine tea..I was served Twinings brand English tea. I died inside...I was so distracted during lunch..I could not finish half of the cup... and I used a lot of self restraint to not complain and sound like a snob. One of the main reasons I went to Asia was for the TEA. 😂
This is cool. I personally like the Yeti 10 oz rambler. It’s nice and small and just fits perfectly in my backpack 🎒 outer pocket and it’s small enough to go with me and keeps my drinks hot for a while. Long enough to enjoy 10 oz of coffee.
Excellent point regarding the more forgiving nature of 54mm vs 58mm portafilters. I have been using my BDB for about 2.5yrs. Along the way I picked up some IMS baskets in 20 and 22 g. Recently I went back to the original 18g basket that comes with the BDB and found it much more touchy dialing in dose wise. I suspect the straighter side walls and slightly deeper puck capacity of the larger IMS baskets made them a little more forgiving when dialing in. Overall, great review.
