After making it Vegas Finals on American Ninja Warrior (S11 Tacoma/Vegas), I often get asked what type of workouts people can do without a gym close by! I came up with these 3 routes - Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced - you can do with me with only a pullup bar!

This home 10 minute (roughly ha!) workout video will get you on your way to training for American Ninja Warrior! We include exercises click pull ups, deadhangs, and clapping pull ups on the bar! Then we hit some high knees, jumping jacks and planks to help balance out the rest of the body! Ninja also takes a lot of core work so we wanted some of the workout to obviously focus on that as well! Finally it's the cardio that will keep you moving obstacle to obstacle!
Also, my favorite tool to help me with training - with both warm up, cool down, & recovery - has been a massage gun! I can't believe how much they help! If interested, I have a playlist of different massage guns I recommend

Even if you aren't training for American Ninja Warrior or Junior these workouts will get you in great shape and help you accomplish your first pullup all the way to getting 100 in a day!

This is day 2 of me doing this and I definitely see improvement! Yesterday I could only do the first couple dead hangs, and now I can do more. My hands are a little sore and are forming calluses but that’s ok.

Awesome videos, we love your channel, you post quality content. This workout is great - will probably try out the intermediate one soon, but with 2 pull ups instead of 5. My pull up bar is in a grassy / dirt field actually, so I don't do the planks, since I'd get dirty. If anyone else has this issue, I do 'hanging knee tucks to kick outs', which works the core and gets the hands an extra workout.

it's kind of amazing how fast a few dead hangs..(I can only begin with 10 seconds) creates strength.... I have a severely injured lumbar among other things from a bike accident and this is the first thing I'm coming back with. I had to modify even this for my spine recovery but....This guy makes me feel like I can do it. I've been looking for the slow and steady wins the race workout. ! I'm such a turtle. hehe

This is day two for me of this workout! I definitely think my grip strength is improving, along with my arms! I will admit, my legs and abs are a bit sore, but not to bad! Overall I really love this. I’ve been trying to work on pull ups so I was super excited to find this workout!

Would you recommend this workout daily? 3X a week? Do you move to Intermediate when this seems moderately easy?

I would say to start maybe a few times a week. If you aren't too sore you can hit it again. You can always try Intermediate and go back down if needed. It may be one intermediate and 2 Beginner a week for instance. Keep me posted on your progress

Planks are pointless better off laying on the stomach and doing a few swim moves for the back. We over work the front and waste energy that can be put to more useful gains.
