Standard Disclaimer: Putting your soft, squishy fingers near powerful sharp spinning things is dangerous. I've been doing this for a while and I know what I'm doing but even I'm not invincible. I take a lot of safety precautions based on my level of experience and not all of them are shown on camera. Don't do anything you aren't comfortable with. If it makes you nervous you're probably doing it wrong. Don't do anything stupid. Reapply sunscreen often and floss before bed. Is anyone actually still reading this?
I love you vidieos man! I restrain myself from burning through them so when i need some good inspiration there is one there. Just want to say thanks for the great content!
This was a really really well made video, props to you for taking the time to make it so well. You are truly a inspiration for me and i have probably watched this video end to end about 10 times :)
Well done Car. Great video. Really enjoyed it. I found a lot of things helpful but I have never seen the plastic used over the miter saw as a divider. Thought that was genius.
It’s very nice but…..Would you really want to have to dissemble it every time you want to use your truck bed. Seems like more of a pain in the ass than anything else.
Loved this video & channel; great set up I wish we had one, we are also overlanding in kinda the same way currently from Iceland to Australia in used Old Lexus SUV. Thanks Zahra @twoheadnorth
🤗🫰 Thank you very much, I really like this idea. I intend to do it on my Pajero. And I'm studying woodworking. I hope I can succeed. Just like you put it together in a car.🥹
It's truly amazing! let me ask a question. This isn't to be critical; I genuinely don't know and am very interested in a professional opinion: Is there a risk that different types of wood might expand and contract differently depending on humidity, and could this cause the doors to separate over time? Or do the expansion coefficients of different woods not vary significantly?
amazing build. Chef tip: If you are gonna use the cutting board for a while, i would recomend to get it a bit closer to the end of the tail gate asi in this set up its a bit far and it will make you lean forward a lot and give you back pain
This is the third or fourth time I've watched this hypnotic video and each time I expect to feel like: "Okay, been there, done that, I'm bored now." But strangely, the exact opposite happens. I am more and more 'shaken' for lack of a better word - every time. I just started my woodworking journey and I am 74 now, have no formal training and father time is not on my side. But that doesn't matter. What really matters is that creators like you and others (Sam Maloof comes to mind) have blessed me and many others I'm sure, with the sacred gift of inspiration. That's good enough for me. Thank you Blake.♥By the way, as a professional composer I found the music you used to be magical as the backdrop for this video. So, the time and effort you put into sound design was a brilliant investment. A few moments ago I purchased the same router bit you used so I can "borrow' your technique for creating that lovely diamond texture. It will be used on a mallet I was commissioned to build. Again, thank you!
