Outdoors makes everything better and happiness is a campfire in the middle of nowhere. Doing it with a slingshot in your pack is even better! This channel is all about wild camping, slingshots and winning with ADHD
hehehehehe....shiny resin glosses over a lot of mistakes. Not difficult either, and I didn't pin them. Also learned why people use liners, to hide the epoxy drill grab marks...!!
To much effort for a rubbish target. Sorry mate. Ive been shooting everything that can fire for 30 years and this is silly. I might do my own videos to show some really cool reactive targets.
Not yet, I'll take them both away camping in a couple of weeks time and see how it does. I've seen another 20 quid knife on Ali that also looks really decent...!!!
Hello just subscribed! Nice video 👍 I’ve been an early adopter of the precise cyan bands when they came out. The bands are good stuff 👍 Honestly, I would like to see an elongation test done on said bands. It’s hard to gauge whether one band is faster than another if they aren’t cut to proper elongation. For example, I know Cyan can be cut about 10 to 15mm shorter than gongchi to achieve the same draw length. The consistency test does show good results though 👍 keep it up.
Thanks very much. Another comment said exactly the same about draw length and elongation, so I'll re-do it with appropriate draw lengths. Cheers for watching!
Bang on with the Evo v2, it immediately went in as my number one frame… until I got an Evo ergo and modified it with wasp clips and made it a 90mm frame. If/when Wayne brings an alloy version out of the ergo it will be complete perfection, as my modified version is just missing the weight of the V2. Great content and interesting conclusion.
Nice, I've been doing that to any unclipped frame I can find!! I tried turning the Evo 85 clipped but couldn't get through the steel. From the looks of Wayne's latest videos, he's got a scaled version in the works...not ergo tho....
@@zCreedsteryeah I drill a 8mm hole through the forks, after making out where I want the clips to sit. I’ve tried experimenting all the wasp styles of clips but found the Enzo pro clips to work best on all the frames I’ve modified.
And I'm wearing varifocals which makes it a bloody nightmare...I've moved my anchor down my face to my teeth from my jaw because the Apex and the Evo are both 95mm...
You are a catch box engineer. It's very nice work, and thanks for the look. Picked up some idea s by watching 🎯 while waiting for my delivery of my Venator from omega slings. If you have one, please review on those targets
I don't - I desperately want one but I need it clipped, I just can't live with wrap and tuck. I'm still upgrading the catchbox, it's amazing what you can do with plastic coke bottle lids and neon tape!!
it is always difficult to say how much sense speed tests make... is there a difference between the bands? yes...will you really notice it? rather no... the most important thing for me is how comfortable I feel with the band...
Hi Benj, thanks for watching! Love your content and channel. All were cut the same using the same 160mm length and the same 22-14 template, the only thing changed was the roll of rubber...!
@@WildandWiredUK thanks for your kind words, I see yours coming along nicely with great content! great to see another UK person doing slingshots! would be interesting to see how the bands perform under the elongation tested cuts as I know Omega is a 700% band it may not have any affect but maybe it would just food for thought! keep up the good work man!
Great video very informative! 🎯It is my understanding that there are a few areas that band manufacturers focus performance on. Longevity, Speed, Elongation/Draw, and Consistency. It is hard to be a balanced band because you can not have it all. I understand that PRECISE bands are focused on tournament shooters therefore care more for consistency over speed. I too have found that other bands are just not as consistent as PRECISE.
Fantastic channel I tried to order the EVO but for some reason they can’t be shipped to Ireland, crazy rules in this country, thanks again for your great content
Thanks a lot. The link in the description is a decent, reliable, speedy vendor on AliExpress - I'm not an affiliate or anything, it's just good to recommend decent sellers. Also about 8 quid for 2m, so really great price. Buy a couple of rolls just because it takes a couple of weeks to come...
Great seminar right on point EVO one of the greatest sling shots .Try the EVO Ergos very comfortable edc slingshot Wade Martian Top notch guy and company packaging always impeccable!🇬🇧👍🏻ps your form is great 👍🏻
Why dont people use slingshots with rounded rubber bands, I have seen people use only flat rubber bands in all the videos, may I know why is it that way
I think flat bands are better for accuracy and aiming but round tubes are much quicker to reload and are used for speed shooting more (the pouch doesn't flip over like it does with flat bands)
Thanks bro, I'll give it a shot. Do you aim off the inner fork point or the outer? I just got an Evo and I've moved my anchor point to 95mm because of both the Evo and the Apex!! I think it's a better anchor point too, more repeatable on my face. Sloped tips are so much win, I'd love the Apex to have more pronounced tips...
Hi, Big buddy. Craig Beale here. I have been a catapult lover from a kid with a lot of hunting experience since I was a kid, like living on the wild side of life. I just love your enthusiasm and the way you keep people updated about catapults. All the best. Will keep looking forward to more of your videos. TTFN. CHEERS
Thanks man, that's how I f'd up!! I can shoot it regular but hit nothing, so cocking it helps but I mashed my hand doing it....and now I'm a bit too scared to try again..!!
TEMU does sell slingshots again. British knife laws were made by ignorant inept politicians. Where I live all knives, that is all knives are legal! The State Knife Law was abolished in 2007! If there ever really was a knife law.
