Nice Swedish countryside Gurra. Swedes are into their big American cars I heard. That rider was too far over. The camera doesn't show the downhill gradient steepness, but uphill is more noticeable. I like green fields, sparse trees and countryside, I'm back in Scotland at the moment for my fix as Donegal coastline is rugged with no trees and no green fields even though it has a beauty of its own. The guys were interested in your bike. 👍
Raggare is a subculture in Sweden, they love cruising around in their big old american cars, doing meetups and getting drunk 😆 So downhill is the right word, going down I guess have a different meaning, downwards might be ok? It's difficult when your english mostly comes from english and american tv-shows and movies. Donegal coastline looks amazing with those cliffs! I come from Gothenburg on the swedish west coast, I sometimes miss the coastline with thousands of rocky islands. They liked my little Husqvarna, and as always we say "they should have kept making them in Sweden" 😁 Cheers mate 👍
Nice scenery mate, interesting bike, don't see many of them here in South Australia. They look awesome. I made my own chin mount with some cement glue, works. treat. 😎
It's a great little bike, I think it's more fun riding small capacity bike nowadays. 1000cc+ is overkill, I'm getting old I guess 😆 Cool that you made your own chin mount 👍
Audio is excellent ! Looking at your new bike reminds me of my Suzuki 400cc single banger I had in 1972. There was no electric start. The compression was so high that you had to open a valve on the cylinder in order to kick start it. Ride safe.
I also like those old single thumpers, like my old 1998 Husaberg and 1981 Husqvarna. Indeed they could be real hard to get started, it took practice to do it right and not brake a foot 😄 Wow, 1972 you know what it's like then! Thank you sir 👍
You should absolutely do it! I like them, they will protect if I drop the bike on flat surface like asphalt, if I drop it on a dirt-road it might not. In case if I go down riding, (hopefully that won't ever happen) a better protection would be frame sliders. But dont buy any cheap ones from eBay or Amazon they are very likely poor quality and useless.
Hi Gurra! Thanks for all the good content. I am interested in a 401 as my first bike. I checked with Bloms but they didn't have any 401 in the store unfortunately. What is your thoughts on the 801 and why did you choose a 401 over it?
It looks like its shortage in deliverance of the 401 everywhere, I dont think they are available in the US even yet. I havent tested the 801 but looks like an awesome bike. I choose the 401 because it's somewhat capable on dirt roads, if the 801 is 100% street the 401 is like 70% street 30% dirt bike imo. I had a Triumph Speed Triple R before this and lost interest in riding fast. It's also a huge difference in price between 801 and the 401. But test ride the 801, I think they have it for a test ride at Bloms. And read some reviews on it too. Thanks for watching 👍
How can you be sure that "someone" did it ? American species can live outside of water longer and they can travel. They have invaded our lakes and rivers in France only by walking. Not a single Astacus astacus has been seen those last years.
I am aware that crayfish can live outside water and travel, but they dont just walk for miles. How can you be sure that "your" crayfish isn't put in the rivers and lakes? That is after all the most common way.
Good for you mate not accepting their terms and conditions, they are basically asking you to lie if you don't like something on their product. I wonder how many people accept their terms and don't make a video. It wouldn't be worth their while or cost pursuing you to send the bike back. Your bike is getting it done, putting on the miles and smiles. 👍
Lots of manufactures mostly chinese sell those e-bikes and the competition makes them go crazy for new markets. There are so many "reviews" on e-bikes on YT, I was quite surprised when I googled it. Yes i´m very happy with my new little bike ☺ Cheers mate 👍
I converted my mountain bike to a Bafang 750W mid drive a few years ago. The kit includes everything including battery and display. I see on eBay that it can still be purchased from China for £650. Cheapest way to get a good ebike if you have a good mountain bike to put it on. 👍☘️
@@irishrover63 Sounds like you made a great upgrade! I dont have a mountain bike, just a regular "street bike" but a mountain bike would be fun, especially with a motor too help out when I get tired 😃👍
Hello I'm from India. I've completed 3000 KM on this bike. It's really very good while riding. Gives me very comfort ride. But only one thing missing that is bluetooth connectivity.
I agree very nice bike, I have the bluetooth on mine, not sure why its missing on the Indian version. I have only 500km on mine, cant wait to break-in at 1000km.
@@GurrasGarage yeah, exactly my point. why they omitted bluetooth in Indian version, unknown. Also another thing. they have replaced the Pirelli tyre with Indian brand Apollo Tyres.
Hi , just a bit of advice, you haven’t fitted the rad guard properly. The guard should fit behind the shrouds. If you look at the guard you have done it right on the left side bottom but the other three are on the outside which is wrong. Hope this helps regards Simon.
Bra video igen.
You need to lubricate the chain, I dont think the dealer you purchased it from did. The main reason to use motorcycle chain oil is to prevent rust! And if you live in a country with high humidity covering up your bike will only make it worse. Watch my video here how to clean & lubricate your chain. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9WWwCQ1ZS1Q.html
Looks like you had the perfect day and are enjoying the new bike. I thought that was a wedding at the church. I wouldn't like to stick anything onto your new helmet that would detract the look. I was out on my Vespa today, had a great ride. ☘👍
Midsummer celebration is the most important holiday in Sweden, more important than Christmas even. You are right, probably better not to "glue" anything to this helmet👍 I am glad you had a great ride too, hope you had nice weather also. Cheers mate 👍
Have you ridden the 2023 model? I visited a shop a few days ago and the 401 2024 is selling for +-6.5k but they also have a brand new 401 for 5k... 1.5k difference is huge so I'm still in doubt. What's your opinion?
Not the 2023 but I have tested the 2022 model, it's a great bike too and if you dont need the new dash, better fuel capacity, and all the new tech stuff, it could be a better choice. Personally I prefer the new look, it has matured imo. If possible try to test ride both before you decide, but I agree it's a big price difference .
Hey, do u have any plans on modifying the bike? Like removal of the windshield, bar end mirrors, tail tidy removal, grab rail and installation of tyre hugger This would bring back the old svart aesthetics to a point If yes I'd love to see
There are not many people who are buying and modding new svart401 I've been searching on yt and insta for over 2 months hoping I'd see one bike that's modded to my taste but no luck
I can't find anything in the manual that says so, but it might just be that they dont want you to go over 7500RPM the first 1000km. But you can use the quick shifter at lower RPM, around 4-6000 should be fine. Maybe dont use the down shift at lower RPM.
@@GurrasGarage yeah, thanks for reply! By the way, I have ordered that crash pads kit about 11th of may. But it is still on the way. I think it ships from china, that's why it's so long.
