Most of my early video was taken with an aging Panasonic camcorder (of 2002 vintage) and I edited that stuff with Microsoft Movie-maker. Despite these limitations, the results aren't too bad (I think).
More recently I've switched to a Sony PJ760VE HD camcorder with "super steady shot" and that's made a huge difference to the quality of the videos. I'm also editing with Sony Movie Studio and that also helps.
I'm no expert videographer but if you have any questions about my videos, just ask and I'll try to answer them.
If big bad Russia is so, so bad, then why aren't they dropping arms shipments into countries that have a high level of discontent with their governments?? I don't see the big bad Russians doing that, or anything that makes them so big and bad and scary.

Just getting back into the hobby after about 30 years. I just spent over $1200 on Amazon for a plane radio, and batteries. The funny thing is; not one of these listings said anything about the FAA, or the ama. It's sad that now I have all of these roadblocks put in place that a man can't take his grandchildren out and teach them the wonders of modern day aviation. I got reacquainted with the local flying club, they still, 30 years later have about 30 members, and are dying off quicker than they acquire new members, sad, and unfortunately I won't rejoin the group with all of this government overreach. I have a big farm field down the street from my house in the middle of no where where I fly. I dont care for remote id whos gonna show up to ticket me for flying over a farm field without a id signal. I dont care.
The US wants DJI's code for use in militarty drones (because DJI has code superior to any other). They've tried to bully the company into handing over their code (even using a third party company which manufactures military drones to take DJI to court). DJI, rightly refused to give in. This ban is revenge for daring to stand up to extortion and bullying!!!
Hi Bruce, it is not just about the hobby. We are al being caged. Al over the world. Now there is bird fly just like they tried covid. Ww3 in Ukraine etc. Cloud seeding (chem trails) messing with our food etc. We al need to stand up for all our right. Not just this hobby stuff, all the rights that are slowly taken away.

The problem is hobbyists don't support each other the government has divided and conquered. RC aircraft operators dont care about 4x4 drivers who dont care about firearms who dont care about sky divers who dont care about motorcyclists who dont care about bow hunters and the list goes on. To get a voice we need to support each other because it is us against them, they ban everything separately because mushroom foragers and firearms hobbyists dont support drone operators. We need to start seeing all of us as recreational hobbyists regardless of what spectrum. It then becomes all of us against them, even if you dont like another hobby support it before the government starts attacking yours.
I don't know why but I was fully expecting the pilot to eject as the camera zoomed in at the end showing the front of the aircraft scraping along the runway... 😅 Clearly watching too many youtube crash videos.
the russian war shows us clearly what simple everyday fpv drones carrying a sandwich bag full of everyday c4 can do... holy smokes! we should all have defense drones and plenty of defense guns in this world. next, china's financial desperation will result in global chaos and conflict. lookout taiwan, and right now usa is overrun with criminal trespassers, millions of them. many with nice clothes, haircuts, sunglasses, and large industrial-type duffle bags...

Absolutely Bruce: yet another comments section full of people complaining but doing absolutely nothing. It's the modern way. Tbh Russia has been carefully amplifying this for years (believe in nothing, be powerless), but that's not an excuse for people to be so hopelessly angry but also lazy.
Not defending anyone but the fact that you have to "activate" a DJI action camera with an app that is banned from playstore before you can use it is a bit scary if you ask me, there is no reason what so ever to require "activation" of a camera besides colleting user data, if I would have known that (yes my fault, I should have checked) I would never bought my action 4 camera even if it is good, at least I can delete the app when the camera is up and running.

cool free society we have. since you aren't an expert on us politics lemme fill you in. the intelligence apparatus has had total control of us politics since they killed/helped israel kill JFK. there's no voting back control, they run almost all politicians above the city/county level. the writing was on the wall though, when the fed reserve was created. basically all western nations are fake, they are caretaker governors controlled externally. it isn't REALLY about money, the fed reserve creates money out of thin air. money isn't real at the highest level. it's about control. peasants can't have drones.
Toying with an unholy combination of corflute and some sort of 3D printed PLA+ spars for an experimental/rapid prototype RC wing and randomly stumbled across this old thing. Video quality be damned. i'm a bit behind Bruce, just catching up on your video, i been saying for long time now our hobby and the aircraft we fly have been demonized to a point second only to shooting, you are right its all about money, the establishments are good at creating fear along with their narrative, the last four years are a testament to that in all our countries, if our aircraft have become so deadly dangerous maybe the American Drone and Model associations should throw their lot in with the NRA and increase their Political Clout and expertise.
Where's the proof DJI is currently sending imagery and other data from American drone operators that fly DJI drones? Or is the real problem that DJI is 5 years ahead of American drone manufacturers' technology at an affordable price? Is the Lobbyists' money protecting our National Security, or is it really just a money grab by sweeping the best competitor in the industry out of the picture?
Local and Federal officials are all to eager to do gun "Buy Backs" in the name of "public safety" ....Where in this anti DJI Drone legislation is the part where the Federal Government is going to pay me in full (Buy Back) for the cost of my drone I'm unable to use? Maybe they could use the financial kickbacks they're getting from snuffing out DJI Drones so domestic manufactures can flourish. SOMEONE is making a sh*t ton of money by pushing this legislation.
