My dog is a Golden Retriever before 1 week she has a wound in her back leg it looks like hotspot and now it looks like cured but now since one week she has difficulty in walking, if she sleeps she can't able to stand her back legs doesn't support to stand for some time she will make noise while sleeping she can't able to walk in step if she walk she will call down and she shakes head up and down and she always lay down... What is the problem for her.

I have 2 GSDs. Thank you for the tip regarding petting when they're in distress. One is fine with fireworks and loud noises. Her sister isn't. And she finds no respite in any room in the house. She clawed her way out of her crate. We let her roam throughout the house. We let her get on the couch. We put her in the bathroom that is spacious enough for her to roam but not large enough for her to feel like it's too big. She has a thunder shirt and is on 2 prescribed meds and 1 OTC CBD. What seems to comfort her is being literally next to me or my husband. But even with us, she shakes like a leaf! The challenge is when we sleep. We don't want her in our bed. ANNDD the neighbors don't limit their fireworks to the 4th of July. They light them WHENEVER! So I don't know how to prep for the intermittent unexpected fireworks explosions. Can you offer any advice?
My dog is almost 16 years old.Serious heart problem, so anetshesia is not possible , surgery.Disaesed liver, kidneys.Perianal hernia in which a part of the large intestine got stuck.All this because of a cyst located behind the pelvis that is constantly growing. We puncture it every 10 days and that's all. Is there anything that could shrink the cyst?? It causes him big problems, he walks with difficulty,in short, it presses on his bladder, the large intestine has slipped into the hernia, chaos! I can't believe there is nothing for cysts?!
My Boston terrier was on this for about 9 months , she developed mast cell tumour , now has lumps in her breasts .😢 she was fine before , but itchy, changed her diet the itching stopped , wish I never listened to the vet . Uncertain of what’s going to happen now, I strongly recommend DO NOT USE THIS DRUG !
hi doc, can u pls look into this xray scan of my 6-month old frenchie. they cant figure out whats wrong with her. pls.. i just noticed my pup's hind legs are weak and has difficulty in rising and walking we thought its normal and will get better. but its not getting any better. i really need your help. Can I rub coconut oil on their skin.I also have an english bulldog and I noticed 2 weeks ago his skin has some patches.It is not bald spots but it feels different from. The rest of his skins. He acts normal ,I don't think it bothers him at all but I want to know if coconut oil is good for him. I have to take him to his vet next week.
Poison! Just teach people to feed their dog real food. Raw will 98% of the time put dogs with allergies in remission. Stay away from this drug ppl. The side effects are not worth it.
My best friend Hudson leaves this world tomorrow and I am heartbroken… he has been with me through so much and typing this now, I reminisce on the memories.. Thankyou for giving me closure on the process. Hudson will be missed. 08/08-07/24

Just put my dog of 13 yrs to sleep this morning and we’re all heartbroken. Rest in peace my baby boy 😢. His pain is gone but ours is just beginning. 12/22/2010- 07/01/24. We love you 💕
My kitty had Hyperthyroidism and I tried the cream and it was not only very expensive but it began to cause sores on my kitty's ears so watch out for that. I had to go back to the pills. Thank you Dr. Lera for the video and information.
Hi dr a question my puppy 1 year old 3 month just got her heat two weeks ago and she sweats alot is this normal and every morning before eating she vomits other then that everything is normal she eats normal poop normal i just get worried i have two other female dogs and never experiences this
my dog started limping on his front right and the same tests in this video have been done . can you provide an email id . I'd like to send you his X rays . there is one not so normal on the back of his right shoulder . it would be great if you can see it and let me know . my boy is 9.5 years old . the limping is not that often . but he definitely isn't as athletic as he used to be . it's very evident in the last 3 months
My fur baby is limping badly on his front right paw. Every time I touch it he cries however following your steps (thank you) he is showing signs in the paw area (our wrists are )
My chihuahua mix was just diagnosed, his heart is filling most of his chest cavity. He doesn’t cough much at all. Maybe once or twice a day. And that just started recently. My question is how should you pick a dog up that has this type of issue? He loves to be in my lap and I’m concerned about him jumping up or down. So how do I safely and comfortably lift him. Or carry him?

My dog Rufus has a small abscess on the top of his head. My vet decided to slice it open to see if anything was in it-don't think anything was-and I'm using a topical ointment on it daily to heal it back up. He is going to be fine. But abscesses are no fun to deal with on dogs.
Our nearly 12 year old chocolate lab was coughing and regurgitating 2 days ago. Took to vet as a precaution and he was diagnosed with LP today. If he has surgery to open airway, is there danger of food getting into the area in addition to potential infection?

My door is always open so they go in and out and for some reason the male dog just pees all over the house. The females go outside no problem . And for some reason the male dog even pees on the female dogs when there peeing . Please help
I said goodbye to my beautiful 15year old cat 2 days ago, had her since she was 5wks old. Sudden rapid decline and we tried everything to make her better but sadly it was too no avail. She let me know she had had enough of trying to fight and she was tired and in pain. I held her in my arms and told her it was going to be ok and I would see her in heaven when it was time to be together again. RIP my angel, Sox 22/06/24
I started giving my dog some skin health vitamins from Pet Honesty it contains Krill,Alaskan salmon oil, Organic Spirulina, Omega 3s, Algea, Chia seed, Organic Kelp,Vitamin E, Vitamin H, I believe he got the hives once I gave him these, should I stop

Hi, I own a boarding. Grooming and training facility. Last year, I didn't require bordatella for grooming. We had an outbreak of 12 vaccinated dogs. I quarantined three, and the other nine had gone home. We had to cancel all appointments for over two weeks. It then took some time for trust to build again. We learned that people can carry it on their clothing. Not just the animals. I now require it for grooming. Nail trims anything. I'm seeing videos that sound like requiring it still may not be necessary as the vaccine is as reliable as the flu shot for some people. Dogs can still get it. Is this something I should continue?
