I'm not very impressed with Christian Filipina's "solution" to hooking him up with an underage scammer: "Oh, let us knock $500 off of a package...so you only owe us $1500." 🤦‍♂️ They should have given him the package for free. That would have cost them nothing. One of their claims to fame is that they do a good job of weeding out scammers. Apparently not.

For me "Christian Filipina" falls into the category of businesses that wave their religion flag to distract you from their shady practices. Someone who's a Christian or any other religion or philosophy should show you their colors by their deeds, not their words.

Sounds like a guy I know from CA. This guy was into (serially) rescuing Filipinas from their hard lives, but he was also a classic narcissist so he always rationalized away all the warning signs. At one point he had a fiancé that he put into the K1 visa process. Meanwhile he paid for her nursing school, paid for her condo in Manila (she was from Negros originally), and also provided monthly support. When she blew off her visa interview he could not contact her and he had already reserved a wedding on the Queen Mary, a band, etc. He went to Manila to find her, talked the condo guard into letting him in the building, and found she had sublet the condo and all his gifts were stacked up outside the door. She went to a visa interview, but not his! She was pregnant by another guy and he found her living in a trailer in a trailer park under a freeway in Garden Grove. Not his only expensive lesson unfortunately. This guy could be a book all by himself!

I tend to agree with the expats and Passport Bros that you never bring a woman back here to live because she will quickly Westernize and have seen this happen before. I used to think the exact opposite but looks like this "guy from CA" gave us another valuable lesson on why you never bring them back.

There are many, many more stories of where they DO NOT leave their man & stay happily married. Don’t twist some peoples stories for everyone’s. One of the things I tell anyone who is chatting up a lady in a foreign country... If you find you are interested in them, you need to meet them 4-6 months from the time you first met them. You can't wait a year or more. Also, never send money before meeting the woman in person. Finally, you can't spend a week or two visiting with them. That's just a vacation, and you can't learn things about a person on a vacation. You HAVE to spend a minimum of 2-3 months with her to really get to know her, and you need to spend time with her family and friends as well. A relationship is a long term commitment, you have to be willing to put in the time and effort.

@@FlyMeToThePhilippines I got lucky...my fiance and I met online in Sept.2015 and chatted almost daily for 3 years before I took the plunge to meet her. Mostly waited 3 years because my pension wasn't enough and I waited for SS to kick in. She is now 56 and I am almost 69. She never asked for a dime during those 3 years (possibly had done her homework)? lol. But, i told her some others had chatted me, some were much younger and prettier. But she was persistent and seemed the most serious. So..after 3 years I met her in Angeles city where she ran a small rice store and lived with her Auntie. Her only child is a successful airline cabin crew leader and bought her a new car. She learned to drive at 51 years old. haha. So, i get to experience the crazy driving there. I recently got a Philippines drivers license too. Long story short..after a failed tourist visa interview a couple years ago..we filed for K1 fiance visa so she will be able to visit US if only even a few months at a time. I generally live in Philippines 6 months of the year and love it except the last months of extreme heat till when I return in May.

Wow! Christian Filipina has some serious problems when they are allowing minors to join their service. For the price they charge, they should be doing a better background check on their women. This also had "red flags". Nobody should be "investing" in businesses in the Philippines until you are there to verify and perform an appropriate marketing study for each business to validate that the time, money and energy put into it will be worth it. I've heard of too many foreigners sending money to have their GF start a Sari-Sari store or other business only to realize later that they are actually losing money.

I advise my friends to live with a woman for at least 3 months full time 24/7. The actresses will get tired of acting and the warts will come out. The last time I did that, it was a 3 month honeymoon. After three months, she no longer wanted sex. Then she got quite irritated when I refused to put a vehicle that I bought in her name. Marriage was out of the question. That's when I packed my bag and left the rented apartment. I left some money on the kitchen table and the rent was paid for 2 months. She couldn't carry much on the motorbike that I had bought her so she left most of my things in the apartment when she left. I was then lucky to get most of my household things back.

This happens quite a bit and it pays to research the girls as you mentioned. A guy can also ask to see her graduation picture, they all have them if they are a high school graduate. Take some interest in her college classes and ask her questions about where she attends and about her classes. Questions like that will be things she hadn't had made a lie for yet so a guy can get an honest answer. The craftier ones will have their social media cleaned up, but won't have the details sorted out about classes, books, and the like. Ask to see her diploma, ask to see anything that is useful to verify her age, without asking her how old so is.

Just found your channel, and this video. OMG...this hits way to close to home. Mine was actually 36, not 16, but the story is very similar. I think a lot of these girls are learning to play the long game. Might not come out and ask for money, but play on your emotions and empathy. Fortunately, I got out at 6 months. Never again.

I was going to get on Christian Filipina but I thought it was super wierd that I have to call to subscribe instead of just subscribing online. Then when I called I asked them about subscribing and I told her that I'm not really into the online thing I prefer to meet people in person. So I just wanted to try it out for a month to see if I like it. So the girl tells me that they have a three month package and it starts at three hundred dollars. Which I tell her I'll pay for a month but not for three months for a service that I'm not even sure I'll like. Then they started with a hard sell and trying to upsell all these other services on top of the subscription. In the end I was like no thank you I'm not paying that much money out of pocket to try a service that I'm not even sure I'll like. I'll just wait till I get over there to meet people.

I did the one month myself & now have a girlfriend from Cagayan De Oro ironically. I just told them they are way too expensive & needed to test it for a month. I live in San Francisco, on Nob Hill. There are homes like that one in the video. To rent would be $15,000 to $20,000 USD monthly. To buy a home like that would cost me $10 to 18 million, depending on view, layout, etc.

I love that house near you in CDO! Somebody very wise said to sleep there for two nights to make sure there were no barking dogs or roosters, though! In Atherton (Silicon Valley) that house would rent for around $22,000 per month. Near where I live in the El Dorado Hills (Sacramento, CA) area, I figure around $6,200 monthly. In Clark or Bataan, we are figuring on over 100,000 Php when we come to rent, but like your friends, that is with a similar sizeable US-based income stream. CDO is a less expensive place than some others, but one of the important things about coming to the Philippines is to be relatively close to my wife's family (Within three hours) which keeps us from Dauin, CDO, Boracay, etc.

Great story guys! Thank you for sharing. I went to Baguio in 2010 and yes the trip is very windy as you get close. Some great views but the road was a lil tight though maybe they widened it by now. :) I'm leaving for Cebu in 10 days for a 30 day trip. Primarily home based in the Mango ave area but will also be visiting Siargo and siquihor and maybe even a day trip to dumaguete. Overall plan is to retire in Cebu in 3-5 years. As always Love the content! ❤❤

Wow, I'm listening to the story and I'm getting anxious. There is no way that would happen to many of us. The guy's ex-military, smart guy, but not a business man. A year without meeting her? How many beers do you have to sell to recoup the money for the little store? What's the ROI? When is it to be repaid? If it's not to be repaid then forget about it. When I was young, my dad loaned me money to buy a car. It was not interest free and there was a timeframe when it was to be paid back, and I was his son! My dad was a generous businessman and that taught me a valuable lesson early on in life. There's no free lunch out there. And yes, she looks better than Kathie Lee!

Enjoyed your share. From all I've gathered it is more sensible to travel to the Phils and then find a suitable girl and avoid a good percentage of the problems encountered with LDR's. I am single and only need a 2br rental for 12 months if that is possible just to get acquainted with things relax and get to know the lifestyle! Wow, that's a crazy story, a very underage girl posing as a 28-year-old! It sounds like she has a good business mind, though, for her age. You would think an online dating site would take more care in background checking. I wonder if they could be held legally liable for possible underage trafficking? On rentals, just for comparison: I live in Southern California, and I rent a 500 sf apartment in a low-income complex with no amenities for $1100. It makes me choke to see what I could rent in the PI! Regarding safety: I honestly take those safety warnings with a grain of salt. There's nowhere in the world that is really "safe", anything can happen at any time, anywhere. America is not really as safe as a lot of people may think, especially nowadays. It's risky just walking out your front door anymore! I keep my eyes open and my head on a swivel at all times.

I sent my friend money for a new cell phone 2 mos after we started talking.. She had an old phone, lived in the province with many brownouts and got Low Bat all the time. I believed her, we were doing videos together often and I wanted to talk with her, she had a believable profile reflecting her last 4 years , famliy, friends and photo's not touched up. Getting a store to approve western union for someone I had never met in person took awhile. In the states dating an American women for 3 mos would have cost alot more and risky at best. Elsa said "Hello...." , 7 mos later , we met and remain together 2 years after my plane landed in Manila.

A question for you about Mindanao... what's the latest word on the train that is supposed to be built between CDO and Davao? Duterte said he was going to push it, I wonder if it's still in the works. When I lived in Malaybalay, it was a helluva trip to CDO or Davao. Would love to see the train come to fruition.

I never send money but i met a filipina that sent me a friend request on Facebook. She was extremely pretty. But she said she was also 28. However, to me she looked much younger. About a week later i asked her age again. This time she was 23. So i nagged her on her age and she finally admitted she was 15. She tried to convince me 12 is the legal age. Which in a way it is officially. But not in reality. So I told her I couldn't have a relationship with her. Plus it would be like raising a wife. So i let her go. I don't believe in messing with under age girls.

After watching your channel and other channels on the PI you have mostly scared the crap out of me about ever visiting the PI and looking for a GF. The whole thing that I must take care of the girls family and children are a non starter for me. I was at first very intrigued about living in the PI but now there is no way I will be going there. There are so many other places to go where it is not incredibly dirty and where I am not obligated by law to care for my girlfriends family. I will try to find a better place to livie in another Asian country.

Too often that's the story in dealing with foreigners. The parents have the underage daughter lie. You send $. The girl gives your $ to their boyfriend or husband. Or, the parents take the $. Realize they survived before you and will survive after you. Also, the game is for you to feel sorry for them. Then, they call you stupid.

NO! ...Baguio, lol, new experience to see :D Why go so many insist on LDRs? Try a LDR in your own country first, hard enough to do. You DO NOT know these people (women) doing an LDR. Few achieve success that way, most do not. That 'chemistry', organic aspect ONLY happens in-person. Again, Some DO find success in a LDR... BUT, most do not. She wasn't underage by Filipino law, only by the rules of the website. The perception of underage varies by life experience. I grew up in UK, where the age of consent is 16, thus I can't fault the girl, except for the lying. Depending upon the country, the age of consent is generally from 15 to 18. Edit : The age of consent in Philippines is 16. I was corrected in the replies.
