You just sound stupid. MOS is a masterpiece. This dude really said the “worst action he’s ever seen” 😂😂 you can still delete this video bro it’s not to late
You don't think any of the point's he raises are valid? The characters are bland, the screenplay is terrible, the colors are awful, the dialogue is literally nothing but plot exposition and there is a massive lack of passion to it.
Its still outrageous that Jackman and Stewart werent nominated for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. I mean, Patrick Stewart alone lost weight to play this sickly Prof X
What is Man of Steel about? It’s an alien invasion movie. And it’s a about Clark finding acceptance in his adopted home. But in this iteration of Superman, more realistic consequences of his existence are laid out by Pa Kent, who correctly describes the fact if the world found out at the wrong time it would cause fear, panic, religious conflict… Pa Kent has faith that Clark, a god like being is here for a reason. (And that is to defend the Earth - starting with Zod) In BvS we see the world grasp at the fact god is on Earth and all the theological issues that brings forth.
so basically Arrival by Denis Villeneuve... but of course since that movie dosn't have superman or zack snyder that movie is pretentious shit like the Dune movies and will never be as adult like the snyderverse or the rebel moon movies those are legit art films
@@motor4X4kombat Er no Arrival is about something completely different… nor is that or Dune pretentious. It’s ok to like things for different reasons lol Man of Steel is as described above. Rebel Moon is inspired by Heavy Metal, so although quite fun for a casual watch they should’ve just released the adult cut
@@Kratos40595 or just watch dune part 1 and 2 again because i refuse to watch that netflix shit again, even with gore and sex. Hell dune is pg-13 and is more adult than most R rated stuff now days including the boys or the snyder cut that is only R rated because of one tame decapitation and only 4 f-bombs
@@Kratos40595 also what the hell is arrival to you if it isn't "an alien invasion movie with more realistic consequences of their existence, with a main character finding acceptance who correctly describes the fact if the world found out at the wrong time it would cause fear, panic, religious conflict and has faith that aliens with a god like being is here for a reason .... AND IN THE SAME MOVIE we see the world grasp at the fact those alien gods are on Earth and all the theological issues that brings forth."... outside of Amy Adam beeing capable of act and having a character arc that isn't just a boring love interest.
@@motor4X4kombat …Arrival is a first contact movie (not an invasion) and it’s about how our language and thought defines the way we perceive reality. Through contact and understanding the Alien language the Amy Adams character perceives the world and time differently… despite knowing her future with the Jeremy Renner character will bring with it tragic consequences, she still goes ahead with it as she now understands past & future exist concurrently and the good and the fact her child get to exist and experience life out weighs the bad…. So yeah nothing like Man of Steel 😂
The next attempt to do Hal Jordan Green Lantern should star Glenn Powell as the character and be like the animated movie Green Lantern First Flight and introduce Green Lantern John Stewart as well fighting against Sinestro or the Manhunters.
I wish X24 was Omega Red instead of a young Wolverine but you take what you can get. Red’s weakness is extreme cold so you can’t beat him without Storm or Iceman so maybe it was for the best that we never got to see him in live action.
Well the source material has the Sliver Samurai as a mutant with a kinetic charge sword not an old man in a robot suit. I let that part pass but it could have been better.
I like this movie. Good X-men movies are X-men 1 X-men 2 X-men First Class X-men Days of Future Past The Wolverine, particularly the Unrated cut Logan Bad X-men movies are X-men 3 Last Stand X-men Origins Wolverine X-men Apocalypse X-men Dark Phoenix New Mutants
Originally there was going to be a Justice League Dark movie with characters like Constantine, Zatanna, and Swamp Thing directed by Gullimero Del Toro. They took ideas from that movie and put them into this movie. There are two animated movies that are about the Suicide Squad. Batman Assault on Arkham is basically a Squad movie with Batman in it. Then there is Suicide Squad Hell to Pay. Both movies portray the Squad better than this movie.
Appreciate your thoughts! I don't so much disagree with the review - I still don't care for the movie - as I do feel the video could be better made and articulated. I focused on all the wrong things. The biggest issue is that they made a Superman movie for people who don't like Superman, and it doesn't even make the idea work in the function of its story. Again, appreciate you sharing the love!
I think Richard Parker and Norman Osborn created the spiders, is a reference to the ultimate spider-man comics. Where Richard and Eddie Brock's father work together to create the symbiote (a.k.a Venom) as a cure for cancer.
Damn man I couldnt disagree more with you. I adore this movie. I think its the best solo superhero movie of all time. Snyder is brilliant. Everyone has an opinion and I respect that but I totally disagree.
I agree woyj Darh Vaders cry of No being one of the worst and for me growing up with the original it killed the end of the movie for me. Suprised you didn't mention the ending montage where we hear that walker Jar Jar Binks speaking ruining the movie even more. Drsney could make money if they released a box set withe the original cuts of the movies alongside the revamped editions but of course the fuckwits at Disney don't believe in DVDs anymore whichnis why to watch the TV series you have to pay to watch their TV shows. FuCKING DISNEY Not content with nearly destroying Star Wars they have killed Indiana Jones. Kathleen Kennedy is on a level of evil with George Lucas for shitting on the fans. Thanks George for ruining our childhoods
I agree they missed the point of the character of Superman 👍. I didn’t like Lois knew Clark was Superman or the military. If they know why wear the glasses?! 🤷🏼♂️ There was no fun at all in the film. CGI effects should only enhance a film.
Something I think is very wrong with Snyder’s approach to Superman - and even the Donner movies aren’t entirely blameless in this regard - is his fixation with Kal El being Christ-like. As much as the movie insists on Kal El being half god and half man, it’s clear Snyder sees him as the first half way more than as the second one. Clark almost never really FEELS human. Therefore the message that passes, at least to me, is that Superman is the proverbial “perfection that teaches to hope”. The only reason why he doesn’t fit in is that WE aren’t ready. He’s godlike, he’s perfect, we can only humble ourselves and learn from him. Snyder’s Superman is, as Quentin Tarantino once wrote, a critique to the human race. We suck, this alien being is better than us, we should be more like him. We should be thanking him because he lowers himself to our level. And that is SO NOT the point of the idea behind Superman. The idea behind Superman is that Jor El and Lara weren’t two godlike beings who sent us a messiah. They were two parents who wanted to save their kid. Period. The man Kal El eventually became, a paragon of virtue and hope, the greatest hero on the world, an inspiration for countless people both in his fictional universe and in the real one… all that came from the HUMAN BEINGS that surrounded Clark Kent while he was growing up. From Ma and Pa Kent, from Lana, from Jimmy, from Perry, from Lois. Superman is one of the greatest heroes in the universe, and WE. MADE. HIM. Humanity made him, in every possible sense of the phrase, and that is something we should be immensely proud of. That is something Clark himself is immensely proud of. This story should not make us feel ugly and inadequate in comparison to a perfect being. It should not make us want to change ourselves to be more like Superman. It should make us remember that, at least in potential, we *already are* Superman.
