Professional motorsports guys never use solder. I use to think soldering was the best way too. If you get yourself some good crimps and crimpers it will outlast any soldered joint. And get rid of the tape. Use some heat shrink. I'm not trying to give you a hard time by any means.

@@TripleDiamonds yea and by judging where the post eyelet is on the harness for the alternator it looks like you for enough wire to make it reach. Even if you use the new plug and re pin it. It takes a little more time but once you do it a few times is pretty easy to figure out how most plugs come apart.

@@TripleDiamonds you get into big projects like your doing now there is a lot of different little tasks you're trying to take care of. It's hard to remember every plug or every method. That's why you got subs though right lol I'm not the type of person to talk shit even if someone is doing some total hack stuff. I'll give my little piece of advice. ... And depending on their work habits in there previous videos I won't even comment. Lol but I can tell you take pride in your car. And I can relate with someone that isn't afraid to say oh shit I put the braided lines in the wrong spots.lol cuz that's something I'd do. Lol
