I live in the mountains of NC. I love Metal Detecting and enjoy unearthing coins, jewelry and relics. The mystery of the hunt and enjoying the great outdoors keeps me Hooked :)
This is a hot seeded hunt detector. I'll be using the pro with a 9 inch concentric coil this weekend. The Nox 800 & D2 will be a backup sitting in the suv.
Outstanding vid…well done explaining the different aspects of this detector. I just bought this same detector new for $175 and this is absolutely the best vid covering its’ features. Again, well done…liked and subbed!
One question, at the end of the video it chimed and showed 35. Why does it do that? Took mine out of the box and it chimed and showed 35 till I turned it off.
You only show when you find metal one is laying right on. Up of the ground I wanna see? You find something 7 inches 8. Inches under dirt. You don't show that I don't know
keep that on pro but put it on zero....to dig on a beach,i always do and maybe change the frequency to stop that chatter but its hard cause at-pro's hate salt water, even wet spots
I dont know, if creator of this video is still alive, is stil metal huntin, or is he active on his channel, after 8 9 years from this video until now. But, i have few questions. I am also a metal detectorist from Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the Balkans, in Southeastern Europe. Anyways in my country, we also have big sporting or relaxation areas where alot of people gather and come and go everytime, parks, camps etc. I have never considered to go park hunting, with modern findings mostly, like jewelery, new coins etc. Because in my country there are prehistoric, bronze iron age, roman, byzantine, medieval, ottoman turkish, Austrohungarian locations, forts, tradeways, settlements, towers, battlefields, old medieval villages etc. So i go full historic mode, and try to go to these kind of forgotten places to find my relics. But after seeing almost all american MDs are going alot of time to public areas, parks, camps, carnival areas etc. And, what am i asking is l, can someone please like give me a few guidelines, like little bit of intro, some free advice in how to successfully start my urban hunting. Cause it is appealing for me, i want to find some jewelery, modern valuable objects etc so i can make some money. Btw i have a Nokta The Legend. Which has the Park Mode, but i dont know actually how to behave in Park Public areas because of the trash, of the people seeing me, how to search, which spots are like the honey pots in a park, how to deal with pulltabs and all foils bottlecaps etc.
I would like to add , this is a killer seeded hunt machine. No one is running 8.4 frequency so there is no interference. All coins are only 2 inches deep ,so I don't worry about deep coins. ,I am using the 9 inch concentric coil on my machine, not the double D.. Also I have wireless headphones for it. .At this last hunt I had two back-up machines in the van a NOX 800 & a XP Deus2..
I still want one now, my lastest greatest is a simplex plus, but it burns my arm out quickly unlike my vaquero. If this swings like my vaquero I may still go for it or the t2 equivalent.
though I had some problem with sea water It also ru-vid.comUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn

That triangular piece if its sterling, it could be a native American trade silver earring. i.pinimg.com/originals/e6/92/01/e69201e71f8d5fb7884f3256a6af6811.jpg
Can the DD coil on the White's Treasurepro be submerged under inches of water?? I've even used heat shrink on the cable/part that inserts into the coil. Do I take the chance of getting the coil wet at all..? I've always used my Treasurepro in dry conditions.
The coils is supposed to be waterproof and can be submerged. I've never had any issues with mine. I've hunted shallow creeks with quite a few detectors.
I recently picked one up. I’m rather disappointed with it. The pin point feature is pretty bad. Also, the wing nuts won’t tighten enough to keep the coil in place.
Hey Gene….IM struggling to figure out good settings on f75 for the beach……it seems so noisy and difficult to GB😳…..I’m used to my Minelab Xterra and feel like iM STARTING OVER……please give me some guidance…thanks! Jeanne from EI
I never did much with it on the wet sand. Dry , It did well. If I recall , I was told manually GB at 15 or so. This is supposed to help cancel out the salt signal, and disc up to foil. You'll have to play around with that and see.
Did you find gold with this device? I just bought this device, but in Iran there is no information about how to use this device. Can you teach me the settings for finding gold?
If you are out in areas that are not developed or would have a lot of junk metal. I would use the machine in all metal mode. Small gold can show up in the foil range . Larger gold will show up higher on the target I ID scale. If hunting home sites and places that could have a lot more metal in the ground I would hunt in discrimination mode. I would just discriminate out iron. JE mode is more sensitive, Jewelry Mode, so I would try that out. It's the same thing with the target ID. A large gold ring will have a higher ID than a small ring. One e way to really learn is to test the machine on some gold if you can. This will allow you to see what it reads, and make adjustments. The more targets you dig up in the field, the more you will understand. It will find gold with just the basic settings. You just have to dig about everything to get it.
Man your videos are really helpful way better than most I have watched. I have a VGC V3i coming from ebay and can't wait to play with it. My brother passed away. I am dealing with his estate. I cleared off a number of old buildings and plan to go over the ground really well as it is for sure virgin ground.
I’ve got the F75 SE LTD also... If you didn’t know the boost mode and cache mode settings transfers over to all metal mode side and enhances its performance. It’s says so in the users manual and I asked Kelly Co. You don’t need to swing slow in boost mode using all metal mode but you do need to sweep slow using cache mode and when you’re using that setting while in all metal mode. Just set discrimination mode side first then switch over to all metal mode and it almost doubles all metal mode performance. Other settings like default or fast mode or jewelry doesn’t transfer over to enhance all metal mode. This information is on page 22 and 23 of the users manual. As you start to read each discrimination mode. You’ll noticed boost process cache locating process at the bottom of the paragraph says... when the boost mode is selected the response characteristics of the all metal mode are also modified (meaning boosted or enhanced) these characters include less noise and slow response speed. Because now its searching ultra deep and so it responds a little slow. You don’t need to sweep slow in boost mode but you do when you use cache mode. Regardless if you are using them on discrimination side and/or on all metal mode. If you select one of these options and go back to all metal mode they are enhanced if you use any other setting like default or bottlecap or jewelry then it goes back to lower performance or default. Also if you haven’t upgraded to larger 15” inch fisher coil you should. I purchased the larger 15” inch fisher coil for my F75 LTD SE and I can hit quarters over 20” inches deep! Man hole cover or 55 gallon drum jumps from 2 meters on or 6 feet on stock 11” inch coil... However the larger 15” inch fisher coil will hit same amount of metal over three meters or 10 feet deep! So if you haven’t then you should upgrade the coil.
Got the SE it's deeeep best ever t2 nice but no bk light and have reset Fisher 75se u wount go wrong I had over 15 different dectectior s this one's for keeps man
If you want depth try using an Aka Sorax pro signum or crazy depth an Aka Intronik :) I have these and my Nautilus with the huge coil on can match the Sorax with a 6 inch coil. Seriously deep detectors :)
Thank you 🙏 for this in depth test. I know it’s an old video, but I just picked up a good used Ace 400 from Metal Detecting Stuff out of TX for $160 plus free shipping. I’m still learning it. But from this review it seems I got a MD I can grow with for awhile. I started with a used BH Tracker IV that I got like new in box with headphones, manual, etc for $40. I’ve been happy with it and will keep it for a backup. New subscriber here. Dave in PA.
Hey I know this is an old video but good job. I just got an ACE 400. Moving up from a Bounty Hunter Tracker IV & Tracker Pro. Haven’t even been able to try it yet. Hopefully tomorrow. What camera were you using? Do you remember if you had an external mic. Sounded good. I’m hoping to get an action camera to record my finds. Thanks, Dave in PA.
That's a fabulous video. Thank you so much for making it. Is there any chance you could show me how to use it on a beach? I don't get to one very often and when I do, I don't know how to set up the machine!
VERY GOOD, INFORMATIVE VIDEO - ESPECIALLY THE PART WHERE YOU LOCATED THE TARGETS YOU BURIED - THANKS FOR A *GREAT* VIDEO - BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
