I'm looking for a hair product, but all I see online are Oil Based and Water Based. What should I be buying if not oil or water based? I'm in Japan, so I can't buy the one featured in the video. I need to know what KIND of product that is. Is it a Pomade? If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it.
So first off, Matty, this video is kust about the most perfect fade tutorial on the RU-vids. However, I just wanted to kindly point out that in the first half, you only faded down to a .5 guard halfway closed, but on the other side you faded all the way down to .5 fully closed. Wanted to make sure everything was even on both sides! 😂 Peace and good vibes, brotha.
For the last week I’ve been using both a blow dryer and touching up any fly-always with a beard straightening comb. Because I have an all white beard, I’ve dialed the temperature down on the blow dryer and use two bars on the straightening comb because I was experiencing some yellowing of my beard if I go above three bars. I treat my beard with coconut and apricot oil when I get out of the shower. Would that create an issue?
For a long time I had a VERY short beard that I inexpertly trimmed. For another 20, I had a moustache and goatee. At 62 years of age I decided I wanted a real beard and started growing it thinking it was the same thing as a short beard. So far I have made all of the mistakes you talked about in another video and now after several months and some length to it I figured I'd better try to understand what the heck I'm doing. I never knew ANY of the things your videos have taught me, and though now it seems as if I'm starting all over again (though with a pretty good start) I feel like I at least know where I'm heading because of your videos. It'll be tough waiting for all of that beard I trimmed off to match the rest of it but I'll try to be patient and wait it out knowing the end result CAN be good after all! Thank you!
This is a tough product...says not to wash beard the problem with this color is its flat one color will go dark as night blend color with conditioner small amount color will not be as dark ..this color stains skin be aware
Great video on many levels. I always grow a beard the 3 months lather carve out a horse shoe mustache with my straight razor. When I get tired of the 'stache I go for the clean shaven look. Gotta admit, I love to shave..The guy looks like a million bucks and has many friends to hang with..
I really like the explanation on FADE vs TAPER on beards. A lot of barbers taper my beard when I ask for it to be faded and I think this video demonstrates the difference between the barber terminology more clearly.
Ive been avoiding my beard for a while now, but it’s gotten to the point where I have to shave every single day to maintain the clean look. I’ve accepted the beard at this point so now I gotta watch this 😕
Excellent video with worthwhile content done right. Subscribed! For goatees that are kept really short, though, I guess we just have to live with the gray.
If you are looking for a new scent look up (Luxurious Bastard) i have the 1912 Bastard, luxurious Bastard, Holy Bastard, rustic Bastard and they are Good 👍 😮❤❤❤❤❤
Hey man, awesome videos. Got a question. How does it stack up to other cheaper wahl tools in the same price class? Like the Wahl Cordless super taper or wahl magic clip?
Seriously man thank you so much ❤️ I've been struggling to take care of my husband's beard (yes I know he can go get it done but I like doing it for him and I feel like I was doing an ok job) I feel like I'm gonna rock it the next time I do it! 🎉 I've never been so excited to do his beard 😅
Love the content. Long-time subscriber but I can't get an answer to this question! Here goes: my beard is 3in long, about 6 months in a "rounded/natural shape. But when I look down through out the day my goes into this weird wedge shape. Flat and downward pointed on the "shelf" with the chin hairs going out! I don't know what to do, it's driving me crazy. I can't comb this thing 100 times a day. Is the back of my beard too long? Do I need to trim my throat, is that why the beard ends up wedging out? Good golly, help me out here.
How to trim your beard……….. YOU DONT. Jk lol. I trim the ends like 2-3 times a year and trim the sideburns and mustache as needed. I do go to my barber to trim the ends.
Recently found your channel and I’m loving the advice! Currently trying to go from a bit past stubble to a longer beard. If you or anyone else has tips for how to handle the “awkward phase” I would really appreciate it lol
