It's a bummer seeing X86 get such a bad rep because Intel is behind TSMC in power efficiency and Intel still has a large market lead over AMD in the mobile space.
I had the original T-Mobile MDA, which was a early PPC device from HTC and then of course I had the touch Pro and the touch Pro two from Sprint. man it’s been a long time. I wasn’t even watching RU-vid videos back then even though they existed. lol
I've been happily using a Yoga laptop for years plus my Surface Pro 8 for travel has been fine. But frankly my Galaxy tablet tends to be more than adequate as a travel companion for email, surfing, and streaming now that I'm retired. Thx for the review.
Hi, I have bought this laptop with specifications CORE I7 13700H, RTX 4060, 1TB, 16GB DDR5 for my design, 3D modeling, and rendering work as it was recommended to me. I wanted to ask if it is normal for the laptop's temperature to range from 50° to 60° during normal use like browsing the web, watching videos, office work, etc. And when I use programs like V-Ray, it reaches more than 90° with the fans at full speed. I have never had a high-end laptop and I don't know if this is normal for a new one. Thank you.
A dedicated place for the pen inside the laptop was such a big advantage, it looks like they are doing everything for people to stop using the pen for this device. It just makes no sense. They had a feature that was allowing them to stand out and now they are pretty much like any other 2-in-1 device with no dedicated place/garage for the pen. Yeah bad times. Unfortunately 2-in-1 devices from Lenovo are not getting better from year to year. I'm still using my old Thinkpad S1 Yoga from time to time (as my second device) when brainstorming / writing down ideas/sketches and it feels so much better compared to X1 Yoga 5th gen, yeah the pen tip position accuracy is not as good as on new Yogas but apart from that it is a much better experience when using a pen, I even found myself thinking that I like it better than apple pencil (apple pencil might be better for drawing but definitely not for writing down notes/ideas quickly).
Good review (I think) but you need to slow down your speech. You slur and run words. Because of that, after half way through your review, I had to call it quits and look for another review.

That naming is confusing. At first I thought Lenovo made an X1 tablet again. But I think the yoga behind thinkpad was a clear name. The consumer yoga line is very confusing though.

As always, great review. Hit the key notes, note the issues and wrap up with great, balanced evaluation. I have both the SP 11 and the latest iPad Pro and, while I love the iPad pencil, I actually find the Surface Pro Pen easier and better to use. You say potato, I say … . The t-shirts alone are worth subscribing. The awesome reviews are the cherry on top. Thanks so much.
Well done review, I have watched many of your reviews over the years and they are all top notch. And You always add the color accuracy few understand which I really appreciate.
I used one in Best Buy and noticed the digitizer immediately. For $1,400 I don’t want to see it lol. It’s not visible on Apple tablets, nor on Samsung OLED tablets. Microsoft should have done better. It impacts the clarity of the screen especially on lighter color images.
I love surface products, but the price on the keyboard is just crazy, plus, I haven't had "great" experience with the keyboards in terms of durability. The light color ones tend to get dirty and stain easily, and all of them, despite the color, star breaking on the corners... I just don't know if they are worth it anymore =S
x86 performance is "acceptable enough." Personally zero interest in these. I think the market share cap for X elite is 5%ish. AMD's AI 370 is going to crush these in most everything.
Nice honest review. I bought the elite version as my Samsung S9 Ultra is just too big. I'm struggling with the OLED display on The Surface Pro...There is absolutely an issue with the screen door effect. Once you see it you can't unsee it. The whole display looks grainy and can be demonstrated side by side with another OLED device such as the Tab S9 Ultra. You must not have the best new glasses or a there are different screens 😀 Battery life is a welcome improvement.
@@RunForPeace-hk1cu It's not freakin Apple tech.. it's LG's tech and its already in cars years ago and now in Dell's XPS 13. Stop drinking that Apple koolaid and see what's real for once.
