@@leevespa4564 it's been back a couple of times for the safety catch not working 😕 It's also not the most accurate gun past 20 yards but is perfect for close range work which is what I bought it for. Ratting mainly.
well done mate, that River reminds me of the good times I used to have on my local stretch of the Derbyshire Derwent ,sadly now infested with Signal Crayfish.
Cracking footage 👏 👌 and Cracking chub bud. Great to see different kinds of angling and mixing things up. Keep it coming m8 you've inspired me to go back on the erewash locally again with my chuber float and a loaf of bread 🍞 😊
Nice one Dave this is typical anglers day! Bad luck but then it only takes one bite to brighten the day! 25 lbs that is a very good fish, Take care Chris
Try putting the deep portion of net into the spreader v sort of loosely wrapped so as not to snagg bottom, causes less drag too.. Little tip. Sure you already know that
I did used to do that years ago but found it made no difference for me so never bother anymore (it actually irritated me 😆). I'm an oddball I guess but then I do a lot of things differently 🙂
It's all still a bit of an unknown at the minute Chris. I believe there are pike and eels in there and probably perch. I don't think anyone has had much luck with the bream and tench yet even though people have been fishing for them. But there's definitely some big old lumps in there. I saw them spawning a few weeks ago
You'd think so mate but they don't seem to care. Land or lake management should be left to the landowner. Unfortunately this place is canal and river trust
