Hey there! Welcome to ManCrafting™ I love sharing what I learn. I love taking things that appear difficult and making them simple. I love figuring things out and sharing what I have learned and more than anything I love being creative. Mostly because I find that the most challenging.
If you need to send me something: Chad Mancrafting™ 4653 Stone Mountain Hwy Lilburn, GA 30047
Currently, my hobby is ManCrafting. This is a term that was created during ribbing by our wives. We used it as kind of a joke because we we were doing arts and crafts with sandblasters originally. Since that time we have expanded to all sorts of crafting skills. My content is for everyone, It's not an exclusive club. If you have questions please ask. I'm here to help. -Chad
I just use my sandblast cabinet. It eliminates rust and mill scale really quickly with no mess. I use a lot of air tools and a plasma cutter so I already have a moderate size air compressor (11.8 CFM) with a DIY after cooler that will maintain 100 psi of dry air in the line with the cabinet in use.
You are further slowing down the vinegar by covering it with a lid. It needs to have access to air. White vinegar works fine overnight. Use baking soda water to stop the acid action. Been using white vinegar for decades for removing rust and forging scale.
Hey. Thanks for asking. It’s a Boss 1630 with a 100w tube. I’m about to replace it with an Aron Nova 10. If you have questions let me know. You can email me at ManCrafting101@gmail.com
Will this work with the paint that Yeti comes with? I got a stainless waterbottle for free but don't love the color and just want naked Stainless Steel.
My question would be: do you need anything at all with a CO2 laser? Those various masking methods are required for diode lasers AFAIK, CO2 can do glass and transparent acrylics on the spot I thought.
I’ve actually switched to almost exclusively tempura paint when lasering glass with my CO2 laser. It looks more consistent and doesn’t fracture chips of glass like I’d get with plain glass.
This comment will most likely draw attention, but it is what it is I've been breathing in Acid fumes for 22 years the only thing I have noticed is I haven't had a cold or any illness in that time
I have this machine. It's exciting. But there is a learning curve. I gotta repair a cooling fin on an aluminum motorcycle head. If anyone wants to chime in with tips on that let us know!
Measure the circumference, with a thread, fold it in half, you get a semi circle, join the ends, measure the diameter, divide it by two.. that's where centre is..
I own 2 guinea pigs and my literally never squaking. Even when i give them food they are like "thanks for food". I know they love me by their behaviour but mine never squeak. Mine are more purring and i think its kinda funny how i wanted them to be noisy while other people hate them for being noisy. Stillyou should always do research before buing a pet. At first i was supposed to get a chinchilla but they need a lot of exercise so we got guinea pigs and i love them and so we need to do huge research so we dont end up buying a animal that we hate
There is no reason to draw the 3rd line and a line 90 to it. You have located the center when the second line crosses the first at the center. Using an 'awl' will scribe a much narrower line than your black crayon! Just saying ........
I have a couple of these but it looks like my trigger catch and bait wires are on opposite sides of the square frame. Is that possible? Will the trap work if the bait wires are on the bottom facing up?????
Theres literally ONE bee every year in my hole. They lay 6 to 8 all fly away but one. We've had one every year for 7 years now in our porch. I watched 6 come out of the hole this morning and NONE will return but ONE. Y KILL THEM?? SERIOSULY. WIND CHIMES DETER THEM THEY DONT LIKE VIBRATIONS. PEPPERMINT SPEARMINT DETER THEM. Y KILL THEM. WHO SAID U CAN DECIDE WHAT LIVES OR DIES HERE?
I can see you’re very passionate about this. I’ve seen 28 come out of one hole after a treatment. I’ve replaced entire facia boards due to damage. Remove and replace entire gutters because of the damage. Log homes that were only a few years old looking like Swiss cheese. Not every area has the same insect population. Some areas need protection your solutions don’t resolve.
I was taught this method when I was in shop/drafting class in 7th grade. 60 years ago. I forgot it thru the years but you brought back a fond memory for me. I got our teacher fired for calling me a dumbass in front of witnesses.
Don’t understand why you didn’t just weld nut on end as this is more than strong enough, also you are only as strong as your roll pin. I would strongly advise using a drill rather than an impact gun, you will chew it up in no time using that.
Appreciate the glass laser tips, looks like I may try the wet paper idea. Now a tip for you... Tip your glass when pouring a beer for a better pour...lol
I have been able to get similar results with a 5 watt blue diode laser, using both blue painter's tape and black spray paint, but I needed to put the ablative material on the FAR SIDE of the glass. No good for glasses that you might drink from, but GREAT for decoration.
