Yo! I heard that two too different rams can cause problems. Can I just swap out BOTH? Or is there any data stored on it when it's turned off? I'm no computer expert, so will swapping out both cause problems?
Don't worry, it's just the tightness of it. I've been doing this for awhile now I don't my came back to learn how to update it. On of my screw parts are broken ( the plastic part which has the golden nut inside) I glued it back together with nail glue and pliers and all is well so far. So don't worry about it. If your worried just take precautions when opening it for the first time. You will hear a snapping like sound but it's okay it's just the sound it makes when it unclicks. Take all the screws out he tells you to. And use I found a flat head screwdriver to work best.the seat one you can find, push it in gently into the sides where it opens and the twist the screwdriver to lift it up carefully and successfully. From there grab the back first where the screens connects and lift it up then the front. I made that misttthe first time cleaning a laptop three years ago and my screen came off from the bottom of the laptop. DON'T MAKE THAT SAME MISTAKE. And from there just clean your vents and then id your cleaning the fan I use tweezers to keep it still while I use a toothbrush end to clean it off since I lost my actual fan brush awhile ago 😅. If you need help with anything while doing it please just message here and I'll help you.x
there's a limit for the speed, if the Part does have a higher speed available it'll still be capped due to Power Restrictions. I am NOT a 'techspert' by any means tho.
Follow up: I in fact did not have any and as I am not a technician, just a random dude with above-average computer information tryna’ replace CMOS battery I do not have the plastic ‘budging’ tools and I am current trying to get a opening to use my ‘budging tool’ with my nails.
Follow up 2: Mine isn’t the exact same model but I couldn’t find it and this model kept popping up so I decided to watch this one as they are both 15 series but well.. Mine has a screw in the middle with a tape(full black, ensuring DIYs don’t see it) over it and I can’t get the tape off. I know nothing will happen if I rupture it as the warranty has ended but I like my stuff clean & nice looking and that would look odd with a rupture :/// (by the way I have the same black tape so I tried rupturing it and I can’t anyway.. Maybe not a screw?
Start at the side where the opening is where you can put in a cable. you can open that thing a bit and that's where I had success and it seemed that he started at the same thing.
well aside from the body overall quality, for me the numpad is a bid deal for me because i need to input a lot of number,. I had Omen 15 2020 with Ryzen 7 and RTX 2060
