Great interview..........had wondered 'what ever became of....'.....and was pleasantly surprised how open and engaging Mr. Stevens was as an interviewee
I met Lynn Anderson at the Michigan State Fair in 1971, I got her autograph and spoke to her for a minute or two. She was definitely a sweet person. Loved her on the Lawrence Welk Show and Hee Haw. I was a fan of hers since 1968 at the age of 8 i loved a lot of her early music. Her first hit single was written by her Mother Liz Anderson who was a family friend of Lawrence Welk there in North Dakota. Rose Garden, Big Girls Don't Cry written by her Mother Liz Anderson. No Another Time Ride, Ride, Ride Our House Is Not A Home Rocky Top all are pure classics.
Jennifer Moves is the funniest WKRP episode. The writing and acting, just fantastic. Particularly love the performance in that episode by guest star Judith-Marie Bergan.
I’ve been infuriated for the past 25 years, about the Academy’s thoughtless omissions, during the “Memoriam” segment. There’s no excuse for it, especially since they’re done very little, if anything, to correct it. The Academy should hire Turner Classic Movies, to produce it.
Looking forward to his documentary. I saw the IMDb for it that Bruce Kulick from KISS was interviewed; his brother Bob was with Stella for decades and always felt he died of a broken heart when Stella went to assisted living and he couldn’t visit her because of COVID. I was curious if Bob and Andrew got along.
Your introductions are now legendary, Harvey. My preparation for my interviews pale in comparison to yours as I'm probably a bit lazy. I'd love to interview you for my radio program in NYC via zoom if you're free sometime.
Thank you, Harvey, for this wonderful interview with Marsha Warfield. Like many, I first became aware of her when she took over role of the bailiff on ‘Night Court.’ After the previous two actresses, I thought the producers made a wise decision to go with a different type of actress. This was a relatively young, new black woman. She took the role in a completely new direction and seemed to own the character. I had no idea until now that she didn’t have any acting training. She certainly fooled me. I also didn’t know she had come out. Good on her! I’m glad she reached the point where she felt comfortable enough to do it! I haven’t watched the new ‘Night Court,’ but It’s nice to hear the writers decided to make her sexuality part of the storyline and give her a marriage as well. I’m going to have to look for that episode. Thank you again for re-introducing me to Marsha Warfield.
Marsha's game show appearances are indeed memorable. Match Game panelists were notorious for their bawdy behavior. Marsha fit in beautifully. Excellent job, Harvey.
Great interview, thank you! Loved seeing her outside a Santa Monica restaurant decades ago, she even took the time to say "HI" before getting into the car that was waiting for her party. Wonderful memory to have!
👏👏👏👏👏 What a great interview, I didn't really know anything about her. I have never seen Night Court...I don't know why!?! 🤷 Thank you, Harvey, it was nice getting to know a bit about Marcia!!! 👍👍
Karen you continue to amaze and delight me, because you watch our show even when you’re not familiar with the guest. Now THAT’S what you call support. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I love you!
@@harveybrownstoneinterviews8980 Harvey, your interviews are a bright spot in my life, I truly look forward to watching. I may not comment all the time, but I do when I can. 😊 Your love & big heart shines through in all these interviews, and I thank you for that. Harvey, you are loved in return!!! 🤗
A wonderful comic and lovely woman. I remember seeing your show in the 90s when your guest was the great Nancy Wilson. Continued blessings to you and yours. Great conversation. Ms. Warfield said ' Why are you giving me a dead pink baby' I wanted to scream with laughter. A very nice marriage story. congrats. Also, the special with Lilly Tomlin and Wanda Sykes, etc. was well done.
@@harveybrownstoneinterviews8980 really enjoyed it. I like hearing from the older stars who are no longer super active. another podcast i used to enjoy was gilbert gottfried's amazing podcast with frank because they interviewed so many old timers. and they have so many stories to tell.
What a great interview. I grew up watching Night Court and getting to see and hear Marsha Warfield speak so candidly about her career and life is really great. Thanks.
I remeber him in 1978 in The Fury, he was great, with Amy Irving and Kirk Douglas. Then he married Kate Jackson. Day of the Animals was great, I was a kid. I just always liked the guy, super talented, great looking guy. At 13 watching The Fury he was just a super star to me, and I had a crush on Amy Irving, who was Steven Spielberg's first wife eventually. I guess we all grew up. So happy to see Andrew Stevens doing so well, thanks so much for this interview. His mother was super talented too. Me? I'm going back to look up some of his other movies, Bronson, Stella Stevens,, etc.
Im a young 22 bisexual man (prefer men) but i absolutely love the village people and their beautiful music that you can dance all night long. They definitely are trailblazers ❤

I am glad I got to know Gary Lewis thru this interview. Saying "HI" to an American vet. Loved your songs when I was in grade school. Moved from Nevada, and they played your songs. Moved to Salem as an adult and your songs are on the radio. Moved to Phoenix Arizona, and Portland Oregon, and the radio still rocks with your songs. I dug your sound, not just for sale, but substance.
Thanks so much for watching our show! We’re glad you enjoyed this episode featuring Gary Lewis. We hope you’ll check out our other great interviews and consider subscribing to our RU-vid channel. 🙏❤️
Great interview, and thanks to Harvey for his personal opinions interspersed. I am glad Toni referred to the song Circles. Thats my favourite, a musical masterpiece, with circles concept throughout.
I hope down the road after more people become aware of her and she plays Miss Garland all over the place, someone casts her in a gem of a musical role. You fall in love e little with her as she speaks for her feet-on-the ground naturalness, matter-of-fact manner and affability. Introduction to her is appreciated.
Such a great interview. I just love Lucie arnaz she seems so sweet, kind and intelligent. Would love an interview with Michael Jackson's daughter Paris Jackson.
