Crazy good work. I used a scaler exactly like that for a year without hearing protection in the early 80's now I have the most vicious tinnitus. I know you are smarter than me 😂
So I bought one. The guy claimed it was from a B17, B24, or B25. Either way, I always get the best stuff from you guys for my Model A roadster. The hood with the rivets, the floor pan design, and now this for the fuel tank. I might need to order a second one and section it to make it hold enough fuel though.
I started working when I was 15 years old working in the factory that my dad was the vice president of and they built stainless steel sinks and tables and other stuff for restaurants it was called Terrell Equipment Co. and I worked there until I was almost 19 and I learned a lot throughout the years about steel manufacturing but I ended up going into mechanics for many many years until I was 33 and a old school buddy of mine I hadn't seen in a few years ran into me and we started hanging out and he was a professional bladesmith and blacksmith and he talked me into building a knife with him in his shop and from that day until now I've been making knives and working steel for 20 years and I don't know there's just something about it that's in my blood I guess but it doesn't matter if it's cars or knives or anything else if it's made out steel and done by hand I have a deep appreciation and respect to the people who are doing it. I come from a long line of craftsman and tradesmen my grandpa was a master carpenter and could build some of the most amazing houses you've ever seen and my dad was a master printer back when that was a trade and here I am a steel worker but I won't say I'm a master of it but I'm pretty dang good at it. It's awesome to watch people take a raw material and work it into something incredibly awesome.
I wish we could see them installed. From this video it looks like you cut open an oxygen tank and then welded it back together... Wheres the finished product???
