Love the new rugs and £300 is a good for two horse and there's rugs and how well behaved the girls where with trying on the rugs ebby is a little gem as well as pip. And he can like pink lol. I know men that use pink on there horses so people can see there mares and they have blue on there stallions or colts. Looking forward to seeing the show video with Lewis and gambler see how they got on.
Wow how good do the rugs look on them ,pip looks so sweet in that rug .I'm shore the grandchildren will like them . Louis you must be SO pleased with the rugs you got . I addmeryou for finding all the offers you can .Take care and all the best. 😊😄👍👍👍 I think you did very well .
Hi Karen and Lewis, What a great haul. Love Pips rugs with the ponies on so pretty. Ebby looks lovely in her new rugs too. Love the teal colour on her really posh. See you in the next one. lots of love Jill. Birmingham West midlands U.K. XXXXXXX
You can't beat a tack N rug sale,Mark and I always say if it's going to be useful and horses will get wear out of it and is literally half price or less GET IT. Lol you were right when you said you always over spend, but It's not money wasted when you compare what you'd have paid had you gone to a specialist tack N rug shop.. Our local place is Owen & Owens, on Tuesday we got jute rugs , saddle shaped numnahs and some heavy winter turn out rugs all very good prices. We took are preparing for winter,we did pipe lagging today, put up more guttering which we run into water butts, our water bills are off the richter scale, so this way will save money. Was going to ask you how you got into horses and as if by magic up popped a vlog( thanks for that ). Saw some footage of Champ I liked the look , nice type and well put together. Am a fan of Gambler I know he's gelded but when he stands up at comps he has the presence of a stallion. When you're at comps do you get marks for say, the walks ,trots and canters and smoothness of transitions. No doubt you will be getting Gambler really for his wkend show, ours is Saturday too , was worry about their indoor arena as it's small but got sent an email saying horses would be in the bigger outdoor arena, and 14.3 and under are indoors, that's a big relief to us and no doubt others too, till next time 💯👍
Great rugs and very good prices love Pips new rugs and ebbys.Gambler will look really smart for the show. Wish i could of got rugs like that years ago they uses to be just plan green or blue.
Those rugs for Pip and Ebby are so nice! I would recommend the Navy LeMieux Show rug with a fleece around the withers. They look outstanding on any show ground and when it rains it’s not noticeable at all so you will always look professional and smart at the same time!
Thank you 🤩 Oh that’s so good to know, I don’t know of anyone with it so have never been able to have an honest review of it, There a bit pricey for what it is so I wanted to know it was good before spending the money….lewis has wanted on for ages so I may have to buy it for him as they have done so well together this year xx
No problem! I love to help you out! You’ve helped me out with so much already over the past 3 months since I discovered the channel! It’s a pleasure watching your channel grow and helping you out!
They really deserve to have a treat! I’m sure he would be so happy once he has just lays his eyes on it! If you can, surprise him at Christmas or his birthday, just to make it that little bit more special! And to remember it that little bit longer, try recording it and saving it to your phone or any device! That way, you two would always have something to look back on!
6:23 🤣🤣my boys always said..purple… it’s the color of royalty 😉 a good rummage sale… 3 blankets for price of one… yes please. Some real nice finds you’ll got. Winter prep as winter fast approaching 😁
Oh yes it is 👑 I love going to this sale as the prices are always so good, I don’t mind then if it gets outgrown in one year or gets damaged Sadly it won’t be long now until winter is here so always good to be prepared x
This is down the back field where the fence was broken by a fallen tree, so I’ve been taking donut down to hand graze and eat some grass down 😂 my other fields are all bare now, Hate to say it but I’m praying for the bit of rain that they say we’re due tomorrow 👏
@@Siobhan_Shivaun yeah we just bought 2 trailer loads, that should see us through to winter now. Need to make sure we get our muck spread this autumn so it grows better next year, missed our window last year coz of all the rain
Owning horses 🐎 will ensure you have a busy life 😊 Lovely to see you are getting some sunny 😎 weather. Great video for demonstrating just how much work goes into caring for several 🐴 horses.
You have a great yard, yes tack rooms get untidy and forgotten about You will get it right. Keep doing what your doing bringing on some lovley pony and all the rest will fall in to place.
You are better off having your own yard. A girl boarded her horse at a training stable, and the horse 🐎 died from starvation 😢😢😢 it's alot to take care of, but you are very blessed 🙌 😇 🙏 to have your horses 🐎 at your own yard 😊😊😊
Your fields look cool and shady as usual. The leaves are a pain in winter but love the shade when so hot. Me turning out mornings takes longer than in the winter,by the time I've put on sunblock, fly masks, fly rugs 😂everything growing like crazy this yr hard to keep up with it all it's exhausting, hard to make time for fun but if we don't what's the point of all the work 😊
Yes thank you, we got some lovely bargains for the girls, that vlog will be up on the channel tonight, Sadly the paddocks behind are not big enough to cut hay, I am taking Donut down there for a hand graze each day to try and eat some down before it has to be topped x
It’s funny watching how you rug - mine have a cotton rug a hood a woollen and a fleece combo then once in bed a heavy fleece on top - and I’m in Australia 😀
Oh wow I didn’t even think of that, That’s interesting as we were watching the jumping at a show the other day and they all kept having faults at a yellow jump, so I was definitely going to pain one of mine yellow x
Ebb and pip are both looking settled and enjoy having each other as field buddy's and gabbler is looking fantastic. Looking forward to watching the next video of gabbler and Lewis out at the show.
Lovely video as always! I love seeing you and lewis together with the horses you're both so good with them and it's nice to see someone his age having a decent interest not roaming the streets like lots of lads his age. You two have a good rship it's so nice to see I imagine your other boys are gentlemen too you should be proud of the brilliant mum u are xxx ps gambler is so stunning the more i watch him the more i fall in love such a shame there cant ever be any baby gamblers in the world 😂 xx
PS: who remembers the bright green stiff New Zealand rugs.....Jute rugs.....cottage craft girths.....string girths....fluffy padded numnahs in red, brown, ....Do they still have continental reigns? .....feed Main Ring mix ....bran....sugerbeet that you soaked for 12 hours.....pony nuts!!! No shavings only straw @ 70p bale Hay @£1/bale. Better not start on rider clothing lol 😅❤
Happy that Ebby is ok now . Its real hard work maintaining a yard especially when you dont have a crew of people to help everyday. When I got my 1st pony in 1979 he was kept at a "yard " which was at the bottom of the lane we lived on. The old lady had lots of massive fields & stables were a mix of a converted garage...ex goods railway carriages which made excellent stables!; there was no running water that was got from the stream and no electricity we had a car battery hooked up to a florescent light! All good stuff it cost £1.00 a week or 50p a week without a stable lol. I gave up horses to follow my career then yearned for another horse once my family were around 6 & 8 yrs old I took on a full loan 17.2hh clydesdale x on full livery £95/week!!! Now unfortunately due to osteoarthritis I cannot ride . How things have changed love watching your channel. Much love to you all ❤🐴🐎♥️
You obviously have a good eye for horses -- you have had a bunch of beauties, learned a lot with each of them, and found them all good homes. What a lovely way to get into horses :)
Glad Ebby is ok now. I wonder if it was an insect bite or sting that she had a bad reaction to as there are some nasty things about. Anyway she is ok now thank goodness. Xx
24:16 young gentleman with two pretty girls on each arm 😆 26:31 as Louis trots him around they step in unison so well. Look like one 😉 trying on all the rugs is a chore… winter prep… despite being in a tank top I understand how quickly winter is approaching. The 5-10 minutes here and there add up real fast and day gone before you know it. 😊
Haha he loved having two pretty girls on his arms 😂 It’s amazing to watch him and Gambler running together, there legs match perfectly It felt really weird trying winter rugs on in the sunshine but it was definitely worth it as it made the shopping trip so much easier (that vlog will be up Thursday) xx
Not sure if I can pop you a message on fb as I know I cannot send photos on here. We haven’t got electric on my yard but we installed lights running off an electric car battery which work a treat. If I could send you a photo it may be easier to explain xx
