I think the MP5-K should get the sawed-off treatment and be moved to the secondary slot. Also, the tacticool sprint animation is too sick to not want to use it.

The key to slow-firing meme weapons is bringing friends so you can up the meme factor and volley-fire. If only there was a tricorn hat as a joke item... I also love how accurate the P90 mags are when it comes to loading them, lol. I have dealt with a semi-auto version once before and they really are that bad.

If nikita wanted to give the pump shotguns at least a niche then he could add more specialized shells which normally wouldn't cycle in semi autos this also includes flechette so thatll help bridge the gap a little

I used pistols last wipe for one reason only. Ammo consumption. When you use ammo that is craft-only or mags that take a long time to reload(im looking at you p90)-you don't want to spend it on scavs. I would carry any 9mm pistol and two spare mags and if i had the possibility - i would transition, drop the scav, have fun and just move on. Also - the pistols are both quieter, so as to limit the PMCs ability to hear you from a mile away, and deceiving. They make the enemy think that you are a pistoling, a meal, a kill for a quest. They don't expect to get ripped to shreds with m855a1 or flechette. Also-drip factor. Also-the rare occasion when you get to accidentally drop a pmc with a onetap)

Using the Toz is not about the kills, its about the style

I actually prefer the APB over the G18 for Stirrup. It's cheaper, comes suppressed, and at least for me, the way it bounced lends to much easier headshots. 20 round mags are small for sure but let's be real I'm not surviving the gunfight long enough to go through 50 rounds if I didnt kill them in the first 5 anyways haha.

1. Since Devs nerfed ammo for 5-7 there is no actual reason to run 5-7 since best ammo L191 penetrates 3 class at max. But! 9x21 BT and .45 AP with cheap craft are best ammo for pistols and can penetrate 4 class with high damage like 9x39. So USP and SR-1MP are best pistols that can counter budget main guns. Not played RSH-12 but have a lot of PS-12B ammo. Interesting pistol actually because ASH-12 is trash gun for CQC only. C tier. 2. Same to P90 because you can't get SS109 ammo (craft is quite expensive). SB193 nerfed to shit and L191 is useless ammo in mid-late wipe. Gun itself quite good. C tier. 3. Vector 45 has cheap RIP ammo like good old times - beast gun. And .45 AP is cheapest craft in Workbench.

The reason to use the m700 is for people who don’t wanna use a mosin (or just wanna use a .308 sniper) but wanna level their sniper skill more efficiently since you have the ability to top-load it, which helps a lot when you have a 10 round mag, and especially the 20 rounder

13:33 45 vector has a shorter TTK with Hydra-Shok to legs than Match FMJ does to a level 4 armor thorax. It's still a great kneecapper.

Aug A1 absolutely slaps at really close range. The high fire rate just shreds and the recoil is actually good because if you are just point firing at the chest area it will swipe back and forth arount the head

Moral of the story: Ammo is a bigger factor for using a particular weapon than the weapon itself. The best weapon in the world is the one you have ammo for. Surprisingly, this lesson also works in real life.

One thing to note about the scar h is it can be moded to have better recoil then the 7.62 mdr, however it comes at a slight ergo loss but not much tbh(I think my build is like 58r and 40ish ergo)

I hit level 15 recently and the AK74 was really carrying me at first. I built a build with 48 recoil using only parts I found in raid and I also had a laser and an eotech on it. I used it sparingly out of gear fear but it was pretty good and I had enough parts to make a second one as well with maybe a worse sight. I was also able to load its first mag (on a good day) with BS while having BT and BP backup ammo. I’d definitely recommend crafting it early game and just collecting parts for it. Some good stuff to look out for is the Zhukov stock and the VS Combo

I personally used the G36 exclusively this wipe before having reached high enough trader levels to switch to the M4. The 6 vent variant is cheap to mod with lvl 2 traders and gives you a lower recoil than MDR and Aug in my experience this wipe.

40:20 Gotta disagree on the FN40GL being eclipsed by UGBGLs. The underbarrels are nearly impossible to aim, the FN40GL (and the M32) have optics that actually work. Also they enable the ultimate meme build, running T7 thermal goggles with iron sights on the FN40GL (which is pinpoint accurate at 100m). That still leaves the question of "why would you ever need single shot GLs in a weapon slot", because the short distance 40mm grenades are extremely rare now. But I bet there are more end-of-wipe GLs being run for fun, especially once the wipe events start, than there are serious UBGL usage during normal everyday Tarkov play.

had a weekly to kill 75 scavs with a makarov, so i queued factory with just that, no armor or headset. it was somewhat fun to onetap pmcs with sp7. edit: STM-9 is my baby edit 2: i prefer the RSASS cuz it sounds so goooood

You are sort of right about the Benelli M1014/ M4. Benelli uses inertia driven systems is nearly all of their shotguns. While gas systems recirculate the gas to push the bolt back, inertia driven uses the guns natural recoil and a big chonky bolt. You shoot and the gun naturally moves backwards, and while it’s moving the bolt doesn’t open, the bolt opens when the gun frame itself slows and stops moving. I like to say “the bolt is its own thing” because it moves with the gun back into shoulder but when the gun stops moving when your shoulder prevents it the bolt continues moving back because it’s mass and little resistance until it hits the “action spring” sending it back forward, cycling the gun. A very very reliable and clean system, but slower shooting and more felt recoil compared to gas

MP5K is actually somewhat fun! It only takes two slots; so you can fit it into any rig and you can take up four slots (the gun and 2 20 round mags) and have 61 rounds of AP 6.3 that will shred anyone up close or bosses. Plus literally no one takes it, so it always comes back on insurance and it’s not really worth alot so you can insurance fraud it or the mags for something worth more.

Honestly the toz still has that mythical status imo, since you don't really SEE it as often on scavs anymore I swear... like I haven't even *seen* one of them in forever myself, and of the scavs that have it only a select few are the true toz snipers we all fear.

Vepr Hunter got a 75% recoil reduction this wipe. It would be a pretty good rat blaster if m80 was easier to get.

The one surprise for me would be the SAG 5.45's I used them once when they were added and said "Why use a semi 5.45 and not a full auto" and discounted them. Sounds like I have to go back and use them like a head tapping DMR.

the augs are super underrated their amazing muzzle velocity is so nice :D

MCX definitely needs more attachments it only has the 2 shortest barrel options for the rifle.

I’d say most 9mm pistols should go to D tier with tokarevs in F. 9mm with higher cap mags are a life saver. I always carry a p226 since I’m one of the guys that wants to carry their own gun in game and mod it out similarly (even if with just adjustable irons and nice grips without a light or a can) with a 20+1 capacity. AP6.3 has saved me more times than I can count. It does it’s job too even with PST or flesh ammo. Granted, I usually run 30rd mags for my AR so I likely would need to transition sooner than the 60rd guys. I sometimes have 1 60rd with 30s as spare, maybe even another 60 but I will always bring my 226. I can farm scavs with it or finish guys off that push me just by mag dumping. I should’ve pretty much damaged them enough with my first mag and the sidearm would be enough to finish the job if they push without healing, or get a lucky head tap by mag dumping 21 rounds.

On paper RSASS and SR-25 seem the same with different prices, but the RSASS has some of the best hidden stats in game. Also, if you run marked rooms often youre gonna have a lot of them which are definitly not worth selling to traders. Its insane

related to 33:05 i actually really disliked the ADAR. however, when I discovered that theM856A1 was a PK2 purchase and I still can't get my hands on a usable M4, I decided to give it a shot and honestly? it felt like a single-action M4A1 that you can put any tacti-cool build on and still make it work thanks to how low the recoil is. Solid S tier for early wipe tbh and easily accessible, but you can forget about it when you level up traders enough to use M4s.

The m1014 uses an inertia opperated system that - I am not fully aware of how it works. All I do know is that it is slow and chunky, and uses springs, and is more or less fancy direct blowback. The saiga, and presumably the other semi auto shotguns, use gas blowback, which Is faster to my knowledge.

I don't even play this game and yet I've seen like every video you've made on it. You could probably review shredded cheese from the bag at 3am and I would find it entertaining

The RSASS has a special place in my heart after I found one in a box on Woods, smacked the optic from my own rifle onto it and went on a rampage against 10 scavs with the one mag. Limped out of there with a broken leg and no painkillers >_>

This is my reason for using pistols in tarkov. It’s incredibly satisfying. Most of my kills are pistol kills this wipe. I have a trophy Glock that got stirrup done in 3 raids; not that great, but good for me. You just have to treat it more like you’re sniping. Line up the sight on their nose before every trigger pull. Spamming doesn’t really work with pistols.

For pistols, I use the shrimp and the usp, but specifically the standard one. I love the irons on the standard usp and hate the irons on the tactical and match ones. Ofc you could always use a rds

I'm sorry but the TOZ will always be Mythic tier. I did 2, maybe 3 wipes worth of Shooter Borne using a Toz with slugs and a thermal on top. Even did it once on interchange back when that was needed for SB. God tier weapon, incredible sniper rifle.

New player here, started a week before this wipe, this gun tier listed helped ALOT but i cant find a similar list on ammo that was made within the last year. Here's hoping you make a video on ammo with a similar format to this gun tier list! Thanks so much!

As someone who religiously always takes a sidearm to use in case of running out of ammo or stopages (that I don't have time to clear i. Cover), I can only distinctly remember it saving me twice. Sometimes, I would take a silenced 1911 with spare ammo in to drop scavs quietly, but in reality, I think pistols are something of a novelty. To me a sidearm with a full mag is just filling a empty slot in case of emergency, I very rarely take backups unless I'm trying to use the pistol itself.

So with the Aug I like to use a spliced Aug. Using parts of both it feels like a good marksman rifle and you can fit most scopes then. It's cool that most parts are compatible

another banger sir, also for those doubting, i just merced a PMC as a scav with the STM-9 flawlessly so its an S rank in my book

i took out rashla and his guards along with a pmc with the mp-18 and that was one of the most fun raids ive had

the prewipe event a year ago with grenade launcher scavs was amazing

I like bringing in the Mp5k as my rat weapon, the folding stock would be sooo amazing! Maybe some suppressor options too

the AUG scope is actually really good for potato computer users cause it dosnt have PiP but has some zoom, and the circle reticle is actually my favorite in the entire game, and the reload animantion of the A1 is super sattifying, i used to run this exclusivly when my pc was a potato and even after i upgraded my pc it still holds a special place in my heart. i just wish it had the NATO mag adaptor similar to the G36. Side note: the G36C has the same benifit/ problem as the MP7, when you take the mag out and fold the stock it only takes up 3 slots, so perfect if you know your a god and will be taking other PMC's guns or perfect for picking up from a body and craming it into a pack.

I have 1 change id make, the m870 can be modded down to the smallest little thing and it makes it perfect for cqb cuz it never gets turned sideways. My personal one is 3 slots long and has 91 ergo, throw some magnum buckshot into it and it becomes the most dangerous secondary lol you can also throw the ring sight on it too so yea theres that. Just that one pump though the rest are not good really

I use the Aug because it's a tier 1 peacekeeper M4 with built in 2.5x and irons. no modification needed, slap a suppressor right on

No joke the sawed off has become one of my favorite secondaries when running a sniper. The ability to just fold some dude in half when he rushes me or appears out of thin air like Chris angel, will always be hilarious.

Also yes Benelli semi-auto shotguns use inertial recoil to cycle. Not too dissimilar with the Sjogren Inertial shotgun.

13:45 the .45 RIP ammo is imo one of the most OP rounds in the game, 4 hits in a leg to kill any PMC, S-tier

not sure if this is a thing but i think when damage is absorbed by armor it should take a chunk of your stamina with it, would make sprinting aross open areas a pain tho so not sure if it would work. Could do a good job at slowing people down tho

The only SMG i want to run is a Vector 45, for the sheer fun of it. But the AKS74u basically makes every smg irrelevant. You can get a 74ub from Prapor lvl1 after doing the intro quest. And decent to good 5.45 ammo is everywhere.

I use neither pistol. PB with a drum mag and PstM is where it's at. I don't know why it works, but it just does. You can comfortably take on a small group with it

As a person who puts a mark on a stickie note when he lands a toz kill, I currently have 21 kills (PMC specific). I usually get 1 or 2 before being put down by either a grenade or I get railed with a automatic weapon. Eddit: (PMC specific)* If effect with the AK-74U I remember if you nab the break from the 74 (cause its better, just like how the muzzle from the semi-auto AK is better then the base as well last I checked), tossed in the forward grip you can buy from mechanic, slap on the RK grip from skier and that thing early game makes an economical choice to pop skulls or deal with sniper scav in a pinch. I'm still viewed poorly by my peers but I argue people should peek at the stats windows of attachments and read carefully as there are some wild stuff you can do with weapons even teir 1 crap. Butt pad and a good optic with a solid round and the damn thing is stupid well into the mid wipe period

Would you be interested in doing an insurance video? I consider myself a midtier player so I insure a lot of my gear. I know a lot of my sweaty friends don't insure anything because they are just good. So I think it would be neat so see what you think gets insured so it comes back and what is always taken. I personally don't run guns like the Mutant, RD, any ASL-Val weapons, or nicer guns because they always get taken. Though I also know my playing methods aren't the smartest. Its the life of a casual.

i definitely understand it being in F but I absolutely love using the toz on factory while playing the game like a movement shooter jumping around corners too fast for people to react and going for heads same thing with the double barrel sawed off

yeee sawn off is actually an amazing secondary and great variation on a pistol

i have my friends that are brand new to the game use the STM-9, the insanely low recoil and semi auto make the newbies actually get a couple scav kills

about the mp5k the first thing i did when started playing spt tarkov is adding the mp5 buttstock id to the mp5k

The Saiga-12 is definitely an S Tier weapon. It is a factory wiper with flechette ammunition in a 20 round magazine. If you are a bit skilled, it is also a very successful machine on other maps.

The Ak 104 disrespect was not necessary lol. Thing has carried me all wipe. Don't let the recoil number fool you, the rpm is really controllable and a full zenitco build plus gun is under 140k.

I have sleept on the SAG for many wipes, but this wipes with the new recoil just turn that SAG into a budget monster, slap a cheap Silencer on it, a cheap Sight, then you still have a god damn gun that is cost less than 100k and fire good 5.45 rounds with lazer accuracy, and Ergo so good that you thought you are playing COD instead of Tarkov when ADS. Basically a head clicking machine

Ive been using the mp5 more this wipe than i ever have before, but how can you class it the same as the 9mm vector? Ive had some of my most fun and engaging raids ever just slamming ap or rip out of the vector. 120 - 140k for the vector and about 100k for the mp5 for meta. Personally I'd put the 9m vector at S and MP5 at A, but regardless they're both great weapons that I have great success with.

I'm in the rare group of tarkov players that LOVE pistols. It just feels so nice to run 45 Rip in my 1911 and leg people. Its not good but I think its hillarious. THREE WORLD WARS. I mostly run the fiveseven though.

i like this one pistol (forget the name) because removing the sights makes it more accurate and i just seem to go off when i use it
