Definitely going to try this. Compared to trying to get the max out on am5 Asus board is difficult to say they least. Due to "AI" functions constantly changing things on the background. Including -25 undervolt suddenly no longer working. After fiddling around you -30. Few reboots later etc. And unpredictable unclear boost behavior. Looks like the times bios settings was the tool to get the most out of a CPU are over.
Warning: This video is over a year old and the Ryzen Master software looks radically different now, making this video pretty much useless. The video should be updated or removed.
i have a 5600 that reaches 85c in some games. and ive never done something like this before hand. Is there any risk? like if my pc isnt stable will it adjust it back to defaults and all that? can it kill my CPU? Please if you dont mind responding to help. for the cooler i have a Prism from the 2700x. It gets better temps than the Stock Wraith Cooler the 5600 came with.
Si a alguien le sirve mi configuracion de 5800x en una motherboard ax370 gaming k5 es 120 80 120. Curve optimization -30 all core. Mi puntaje en cinebench r23 all core is 14290 pts dont pass 60 grados celcius. Whit configuration of fabrica obtengo 14247 in cinebench whit 72 grados celcius. Mismo resultado bajando 10 grados la temperatura ❤
Running ryzen 5 5600, when I am curve optimizing my CPU speed on load stays around 3,50ghz which is the stock speed. Although when it is not on load such as 10-20% my ghz increases to 4,20-30,40.. Is this okay? Temps are on 73-75c when it is curve optimizing. Is this going to be fixed after the curve optimization? Thanks
Great video! First time pc builder here. I bought a R7 5700g only to turn around and buy this R9 5900x. Once installed, I had really high idle temps and spikes up in the 80s just by opening a browser window. I went to the basics like thermal paste coverage, cooler position/tuning, updated drivers, BIOS settings, etc. Now I'm optimizing using this method and saw 90c during the process. Hopfeully this is my issue. If not, I have to do more research. Parts: Asus rog strix b550-f wifi ii, R9 5900x, rx7800xt GPU, 64gb 3600mhz, 2x1tb m.2 pcie4, and 850w gold psu.
ive never done something like this before. Im currently running a 5600 and some games it his 85c and im using the Prism Cooler from the 2700x. How did it go for you? Im nervous that it will break my system if it fails or something, and i dont know how i would get it back to normal or whatever
@@sylviorapuano2688 It undervolts the CPU the CPU will run colder so even less chance to break and more performance cuz it will run at higher clock due to its low temperature.
The moment I clicked "Apply" after the "optimization" and rebooted, my Windows BSOD-ed. Wouldn't boot into Windows. Had to go into BIOS and turn off Curve Optimizer. Auto undervolting didn't work for me. Ryzen 7 5700x.
Thanks, while it was “optimizing” my pc black screened because it was actually making temps go up to 95 degrees. Almost wasted my hard earned money. Do not recommend this method
R7 5700X, after my 11 hours per core optimizacion at -30, i hardly reach 50 C*, it keeps at 43C* when playing DBD at ultra 120fps and a few grades below 40 just doing internet stuff, it worked very well along PBO
this ryzen master optimizer took me two hours to run on a 7900x and then it bonked everything couldn't even post because of DRAM had to revert the bios reset everything lol
After my GCSEs I’m looking to buy an iPad Pro, and I’m not sure between getting the 13 inch or 11 inch, if I were to get the 11 inch I was wondering if it is worth also getting a monitor so I could use an external keyboard and mouse with the monitor and iPad while at home at my desk, but then I could just use the iPad when I’m at school for example. What do you think? Is there any point also getting a monitor, and should I go 11 inch or 13 inch?
If you are travelling a lot with it to school I would prob go the 11 inch. I’d try it first before deciding if you need an external monitor. Is there a shop nearby you can get a look and feel for both devices
Hey quick question here. I used Ryzen Master again on a new desktop i got this year. Running a 5700G. It went perfect, temps dropped 10c this summer! But if im sitting idle in WIndows the pc auto restarts so it became very slightly. Do i have to lower the core values myself or just up the voltage? Where do i up the voltage? Silly question but im not gonna pretend im an expert undervolter having only done it 3 times now so far! 🙂
Dear brother can you tell me please which version of Amazon stick you used in this video cause as I know Amazon stick can't be powered from the projector please
I have 65 inch 4k tv, with hdmi to usb c cable support 4k@60hz gold plated, but only stuck with 1080p and the full screen size was cropped..😢.. horrible...
It's important to note for anyone coming in late: This will NOT work with the pretty much any chip that ends with x3d such as the 5800x3d Ryzen Master doesn't support any CPU changes for those. You'll need to use PBO2 Tuner instead. Or bios to undervolt (depends on the bios, some are crap and don't have all the settings)
I did exactly what was shown in the video for my R7 5800x.Temperature went down and good performance. But while running the Cinebench stress test it Is crashing.Temp during cinebench is 83c.
