Hey Jon! I was burnt when I bought Charley Crockett's Man From Waco. I bought the record while on holiday, when I got home and put the record on I discovered it was a Phoebe Bridgers record in the sleeve. To be honest, as a result I can't bring myself to buy new Charley Crockett albums. I think I might be one of the "I prefer his older stuff" crowd. I streamed $10 Cowboy, liked it well enough but didn't buy it...See above....I think I prefer his new new album, Visions of Dallas. Kudos to Charley for bringing back the old country music industry tradition of artists releasing multiple albums a year. Hopefully he'll release another couple before year end. Hed

Can't beat that price on Sabbath and I have found the same: that is, that you can still find good prices on it. All in all, I continue to be amazed at the quality of records sitting around in those Charlotte shops. With fantastic prices to boot! Not aware of that Buddy Terry, sounds quite nice.

I sometimes wonder if the quality of records showing up everywhere is a sign of something larger. Collectors passing on? Retiring? Or maybe people had better taste than I thought during the pandemic. I know that’s still happening. People getting rid of their Covid pets and records. Cheers, Dom ✌🏻

Give me a call when you spin those Lomo comps, Jon, and I’ll pop over and listen to them with you. Lovely stuff. Never even seen that Paul Kelly album. I’d have sprung for that straight away. Very cool. The Four Tops album is a favourite of mine. Their 70’s stuff is underrated. I just got me a real early Warner Brothers green label of that BS. I have ignored it for years as I was sure I would be haunted by Satan for buying it.
