Worst opponent he could have chosen. He thought he was gonna catch Norris and end the fight but he didnt count on the fact that Norris wouldnt just out BOX him he'd beat him to hell and back!
I don’t even need to watch this whole fight. IMO Leonard did very well against Norris. Especially considering if Leonard landed the right blow he could’ve stopped Norris…maybe…
It's not disrespectful for him to say he wants to fight Barrera (of course he would because Barrera was so great) and he says he'll ko Barrera because that's how he must visualize the fight ending up. You must visualize the win and believe in it too. If you think you might lose, you lose.

Respectfully, Leonard's career was how everyone thought Floyd did... legit picked almost EVERY FIGHT, got to pick the ring & gloves in over 20 fights.. the reason he was "nearing an end" was because whenever a "B side" name with a big challenge stepped to him he ran. The 2nd Duran fight... the 2nd Hearns fight... the Hagler fight.. I mean cmon
Norris was the bestnmiddle weight in the world 5 yrsbearlier but the trioligy of Hearns, Leonard, and Duran - a promoters dream were not going to allow a unknown to Jeopardize huge gate receipts!
With all due respect, if you are going to dedicate a video exclusively to Mexican boxers, would it bother you a lot to see how their names are pronounced? I know that it is a lot to ask for English speakers to discover that other languages are not pronounced like English, but it would be a nice gesture and a sign of respect for the protagonists of the video.
