I enjoyed your irreverence: fairy-tale units and fake art teachers, lol! Conversely, a well-thought out lesson. Finally, you have given us a horde of delightful tips on how to draw, lay down the paint, and clean-up. Thanks!
It’s kind of crazy how few canvas touches it took you to paint this. Every stroke is well calculated and precise. As you say more thinking than painting
You are so genius. I love how you're able to apply the fundamentals of art even in scenarios like this and make masterpieces out of simplistic shapes and a limited pallette. You truly understand form, light, and how to focus less on the details, but more on an image as a whole; letting the viewer fill in the missing pieces themselves. Truly outstanding work! Love your channel, love the humor. it's inspiring me to make content of my own, keep going and im sure youll amass a huge following.
This is incredible I completely agree with so much of this. Also NOOOO I fell in love with the bottom left photoshop drawing, not the cherry red but the purple sky and the colours were lovely. But can’t wait to see what you end up doing
Im so sorry for ppl who study art that dont get to see advice like yours, your not teaching a delicate technique just genuine advice on how to see art, illustrating painting drawing whatever form of art your kinda actually looking for the truth ❤
What if you want to paint more abstract or weird ass looking characters that dont follow regular face patterns and symmetry? Do your tips still apply the same? How would you go about painting an abstract/disproportionate goofy character/face?
I’ved used watercolours for years and have really wanted to start with oils, but the idea of learning it seemed so overwhelming… this video came around at the perfect time and you explain things really simply! :D
This actually reminds me of how digital noise shows up in photos. From a distance you see the full image but up close so much of the information is just random colours
I dont even paint but I loved this video. I struggle to feel relaxed but I really like the commentary and watching the painting from start to finish. Ur the modern bob ross lmao.
Did you know... The National Gallery (US and UK) has 4k scans of some works of art and you can zoom in and see the tears left by the artist... I mean every bristle imprint left behind.
I've had this game on my wishlist ever since Jazza played it, and now I'm thinking I should get it. Also, subscribed. Thank you for suffering for our enjoyment.
